by an international-level military force such as that.
< <robin: normally,="" this="" power="" is="" only="" granted<br="">to the 3 Marine admirals and the Chief Admiral (Gensui) who leads the Marines.
But in this instance, CP9 has been given the right
to issue the command, as instructed by Admiral Aokiji.
Nico Robin actually explains to Iceburg what the Buster Call is. You would assume if Iceburg knows about the Demons of Ohara, and these would be the same as the Buster Call, there would be no need to explain this.
The second thing is that Iceburg actually speaks with Robin about the Demons of Ohara in Chap 344.
Iceburg: The weapons that had been brought forth were all too dangerous.
The shipmasters of the past knew that if that power were to go out of control,
an "opposing power" would be needed.
So they handed down the plans from generation to generation.
The government…
have long desired them... and has finally taken these drastic steps.
I am frankly shocked that you would cooperate with them without knowing all of this.
...Tom, the man who entrusted the plans to me...
Had always been concerned with the one little girl
who escaped the "Ohara" incident 20 years ago.
Even as a child, she held the same dangerous opinions as the "Demons of Ohara"...
This is, IMO, the proof that the Demons of Ohara are not the Buster Call, since there's no reason for the Opinions of the Buster Call marines to be dangerous nor for Nico Robin to hold the same "dangerous Opinions".
My theory is that Ohara is in fact the place where Nico Robin whitnessed the Buster Call, and that the "Demons of Ohara", which are still a mistery to us, where the reason to use the Buster Call. Maybe these Demons had something to do with the ancient weapons, but i'm not sure how the connection is. I have this picture in mind of Nico Robin's Family (which are a long line of archeologists) in a kind of ritual that involves that mysterious ancient culture that made the poneglyphs and the weapons, and in this ritual something was awakened that required the Buster Call and its incredible power to come and stop it before it was too late… the result being the complete destruction of Ohara. This is, of course, pure speculation.
NOTE: The quotes are from Stephen's Scripts, they are indeed the best, Ivotas, thanks for the info on this.</robin:>
