We're all trapped….

I'm super pissed to go back to school. I personally don't like school and don't wanna go back. But I need to go so that I can get into college. It seems that all of us are stuck in a society that is attacking one person yet it is attacking all of us. What I mean is that us kids are stuck with the weight of so many bad things, and I know that adults have their mega problems too. What is causing us to be so miserable in this world. We have our good parts and our bad, I'd say mostly bad….

I want your opinion on what our society is like and how you feel about it....

Society's mood depends on the traffic… literally... if something happens on your way to work or to school, it can mess up your whole day. Sometimes without even thinking twice about it.

Thats just a part of life… having to do things that you don't necessarily want to do to obtain your goals in life. Something we all have to go through- physical and mental stress. Sure, sometimes its aggravating, but its not a big deal to me.

Sorry to be off topic... another thing you can do, Link, is find something about your school that you would be interested in doing. For example, extracurricular activities, electives- be inventive. Its not all just academics and homework.

My school is busted up and broke down. I possitivly, absolutly hate it!!!!!!!!
But the rest of my friends go there, so I have no choice but to go. I just can't up and leave my friends like that….

I live in a town chock-full of rich kids and I am a White Trash supergeek. Let's just say If I ever wanted to go back to school, it wouldn't be in my town!

Society….is cool with me, I guess. I don't have much problems with my surroundings.

But Link, I've been in school for a whole week now. Then there's 3 hours of football and 2 hours at the gym everyday. Tighten up! XD

I think school is one of the better parts in society.. (okay, austria's poor with that woman in vienna, destroying the whole education)

what I really hate is, that good education only depends on your money, or charisma, sometimes, but rarely on intelligence Ã´o

I start school on Sept. 8th.

Groan and Sigh. As for society itself, I'm not too fond of my surrounds and the area that I live in. Too many idiots blasting rap music in their cars, Trying to act all big after the sun goes down. The women in my society are huge conformists, trying to be nice and pretty looking, and only choose the most prettiest looking guys. (Everyone's pretty much a conformist now-a-days, Bah.) My school itself is alright, Everyone likes me, It's all good. Cept for the women thingie that I just spoke about above ^

Anyway, society's doing just fine. The other thing I can say is "When shit happens, don't run away from it. Face it with all of your might and strive to overcome it."

i for one, can't wait for school to begin. my school is ok, but let me tell ya, there are mad fly hunnies there . not only do i get a good education, but i also benefit from the ladies. plus it's frikkin huge so i get a good exercise as well .

Ah, now that I look back, I enjoyed the school - and I hardly studied at all. My only issue was early wakes :sleep:. So I've never felt that we're trapped. Most of us in here west have endless possibilities, you don't have to take the standard route of life. Even if you had some obligations for society (like lame military/conscientious objector service I've to get through).

Society as in civilized, first-world, modern society? It's a hella lot better than the one I came from, I suppose. For instance, it has clean drinking water and functional electricity plants. Its schools have floors, walls, and y'know, just for kicks, books. Amazing. Oh, and toilets.

You're not as trapped as you think you are. You're way, way more trapped than that.

(I don't fit in my old society, and I surely do not fit in this current society. I wonder what's wrong with them. sigh)

My school starts on the 29th. Can't say whether I'm happy or sad. I mean, it's my last semester!

Well, everybody's miserably angry and no one is willing to change that fact. Nobody is willing to help people with other's problems. All they want to do is yell, honk their horns, and stick their cell phones in their ears while driving without a seatbelt. Now you tell me why society is doomed to crumble…
