Huh, we really haven't. Same goes for DK, Yoshi and F-Zero. I believe those are the only represented franchises so far of which we still don't know of any stages.

By the way, there is apparently some evidence out there that Snake has indeed been cut. It appears that the Japanese Smash 3DS package doesn't have Konami listed with the rest of the copyright holders.

Even though I think Snake was cut, I don't think that's an evidence. I think only characters that appears on the package have their copyright holders listed (for example Ubisoft and Platinum Games aren't listed even though they have characters who appears in the game as trophies).

Capcom and Namco are listed, and neither Megaman nor Pac Man are on the packaging.

Unless their on the back. Snake and Sonic were on the back of the brawl and their copyright info is listed.
That said Intelligent Systems is on the brawl copyright info, and I don't see Ike or Marth on the box at all.

This could mean nothing though, since they also worked on some Pokemon spinoffs… :sad:

I just checked this out and it kinda baffles me but… why does Creatures Inc's trademark appear on games they didn't actually work on? It's on Pokemon Black and White's box despite them not actually being a developer for the game like they are for a bunch of the spinoffs...

Ok, Just looked it up.
Apparently, Creatures are the ones who actually do the 3D models and some of the character designs of the Pokemon.
Also:
London game retailer may have accidentally leaked the Wii U version's release date.
If true, November 28th is the UK release date. Personally, I doubt that's the final copyright info for the game, mainly due to the lack of Shigesato Itoi and Ape, Inc. We already know that there's Mother/Earthbound content in the game (with the Franklin Badge and Mr. Saturn), and there's no way they're cutting Ness after three games. Lucas, I'm less sure about, but given that most of his A-button moves were unique, and the only justification of Lucina's inclusion was that her sword does the same damage throughout it as opposed to having a sweet spot like Marth's, I think that he still has a chance.
Plus, I'd like to think that Snake and Shulk have a chance of making it in; Snake's a veteran with a moveset that can't be easily replicated by any Nintendo characters (and I can't think it would be that difficult to transfer him over to the new game, or to convince Konami to get some easy promotion - the way I see it, if Nintendo or Sakurai had a problem with his inclusion, he wouldn't have been considered for Melee or added in Brawl), and Shulk's the main character of a new and popular franchise (popular enough to get a worldwide release for both Xenoblade Chronicles and its spiritual successor) who would add a lot to the game, given how deep his game's setting is and how much places and characters there are.
Admittedly, I only got into Metal Gear after Brawl, and I'm still early on in Xenoblade by my understanding, so I'm sure someone would do a better job justifying why they should be included than I would, but I feel like those two, at least, should be in, and the copyright info would most likely acknowledge that by showing Konami and Monolith Soft (unless Shulk's a secret character).

Aparently, the copyright is only for info that's on the game box, not the game itself.
And yes, it has to be final, games don't just pop in the stores, the game is already being made.
About mother, aparently creatures inc has the rights, and besides, if it's not in the box, the copyrigth doesn't have to be there.
And finaly, who benefits of Snake suddelny showing up without no one knowing? And why that wasn't done with Sonic or Pacman?

Pic of the day. Looking at the number of days we have left for development, it would be an impossible task to create this… That's what I told my staff. But thanks to the determination of her female designer, these Zero Suit outfits got completed in time. From the ending of Metroid: Zero Mission, here's Samus in shorts!

The game was supposed to be gold like a month ago, unless this was a day long texture work, or a very bad bug, it's a bad idea to do the change.
I hope that they are taking the risk based on the posibility of solving any issues through a game update.

Nice alts. Not as good as Justin Bailey or Young Samus from Other M (even if the game wasn't my cup of tea), but they could add these into the game later. Little Mac has more than one alt after all.

They are not stupid, look cool and serve a purpose. There, argument over.^^ Some of her moves are very similiar to bayonetta and with the heels even more so. Makes me wish bayo was actually in smash, but can't be done I guess since she's from a mature game.
