Today, I opened the AP Forums, like always, and what was my surprise? The Norton Safe Web, a protection included in the Norton Internet Security to warn the user about websites who have known security threats, blocks me and says that the APF isn't safe and has 9 security threats, and suggests that I don't access the website.

The list of the supposed threats is here: http://safeweb.norton.com/report/show?url=http://apforums.net&ulang=eng

Can some Admin or some Moderator check it? I doubt there is any real threat, I think it is just some kind of "website unsafety false positive", but it won't cost to check.

Also, the website owner can ask for a re-evaluation of the website, in the case of it being a mistake, or after the removal of the threats. (I would like it, if I could access the APF without getting a warning page everytime I do it, like I used to…)

If I write something wrong, excuse my english….

Norton is a piece of shit. I have no idea how it managed to sneak on into pretty much any computer you buy now.

Well I have adblock and noscript so I haven't had a problem but I'm on the school computer using IE right now and having no problem. I can't imagine what on here could give you a virus though, I mean there are no ads.

                    Why? It's Norton.

1)The way the forum code works, there isn't anything to execute. It CAN'T run a virus. The only way you'd get a virus from here is if you followed a link. Which someone can put in their sig or whatnot, but… you can't get it just from the main site.

2)All the norton reported pages are from 3-4 years ago.

                      3)Norton is unreliable in general.

4)Before anyone asks, the server being down yesterday was a coincidence only, it was down network wide and had nothing to do with the site itself.

Yes, its exactly the same thing.

There's probably just a link dropped by a spambot somewhere that's tripping the false alarms.
