Edit: Seriously Holy Hell? With the ports?It was more like existing and predictable first party and franchise entries than a lot of ports. Harmless and boring I guess, not exciting
But mostly as far as showing off games and the new hardware goes, I thought it did a good job. I don't think the absence of any SUPER exciting games makes it bad and PSVita looks great. It just looks like an insanely capable handheld
The only thing we wanted anyways was Last Guardian, but it not showing up didn't kill it. I prefered it over

Edit: Seriously Holy Hell? With the ports?Lol, how does Nintendo "really matter"? It's nice that they're gonna have a new console and all, but I doubt the library's gonna be any stronger than it was with Wii which… wasn't strong. Least most of the shovelware won't follow it, tho.

Also, really happy about Sly, and am definitely considering getting the Vita. Other than that though, I was only impressed by a few things. Unless Nintendo completely bombs, don't see much of a chance for Sony winning this year.

wow, PSV for only 250? very nice price. seems like they want to go toe-to-toe with the 3DS.
I guess it'll be 3D vs Great Graphics, Dual Screens vs Dual Analog Sticks, and Touch Screen vs Touch Pad. Aside from the libraries, of course.

Sales don't indicate quality. But to say the best selling company doesn't matter at all is still stupid. And Nintendo does make some of the highest quality games out there. Nintendo's problem has never been 1st party games, its been 3rd party support

I should be able to watch Nintendo's conference in full tomorrow. Only got to see Microsoft's today and read a liveblog of Sony's.

This was revealed before E3, but I only just now remembered it. Vita will NOT have a TV out of any kind. You can output the audio to other devices, but the Vita's screen is the only screen you can play the game on. This is very stupid, especially considering several PSP models had the option.

Watching the Sony one. Not sold on anything thus far. Uncharted 3 I liked the boat bit but that's about it.
And no Sony. I'm not buying a new smaller TV to play 3D. Not when it's gonna cost $570 (You only get one pair of 3D glasses so have to buy another) to play a few games with annoying uncomfortable 3D glasses. I did like the split screen thing tho.
I liked the sound of Resistance 3….then saw it. Not for me.
Is it me or does the NBA game look really blurry? Was it in 3D or?
Edit: ZOMG MEDIEVIL......oh...no...nevermind. Looks like somebody was impressed with Skyward Sword XD

Those PSP models didn't have front and back touchscreens. Also, the screen is OLED.

Whoa. That's cool and all, but I don't feel that it would sell all that well. It's not everyday that I come across a SNES game in stores, unless it's one of the "buy-and-sell old games" kind of stores.
And there's the whole virtual console stuff and emulators and blah blah blah.
Funny this should come up, though. I JUST started re-playing A Link to the Past a few days ago.

Watching Ubisoft's. I quite like the look of that Tintin one actually. Although I say that with knowledge that the majority of movie games suck. Rayman looked epic too.

Buu doesn't care about Nintendo's first party titles cus he hasn't used the opportunity to get into them. So whlie the rest of the world is happy to see Mario, Zelda, Metroid etc. He just doesn't care.
Wii's library was pretty strong. It's the fact that the shovelware crap outnumbered every decent game about 10 to 1. My only problem with the Wii was that after a year or two I just got sick of the Motion Controller and wished Nintendo woulda allowed us to choose between Remote + Chuck or Classic Controller. Which didn't happen.

I'm not a fan of the Odin Sphere/Demon Blade-ish 2D artsyle but the adventure and stages themselves look like alot of fun.
