So I was curious… how curious are you really? What are the things you are the most curious about? :O

I'm so curious I was the one who killed the cat.
I'm curious about too much I think. If I get interested/curious in any subject I follow it till I can find some answer or meet and absolute dead-end. Usually for the better, but sometimes for the worse.
I guess curiosity was the driving factor behind most of humanity inventions and discoveries so I'm all for it.
I'm so curious that I sometimes seem intrusive and stalker-like.
I named my cat curiosity…..so he committed suicide.
It was an ironic death.

you should have said you are so curious you sometimes break the 4th wall
anway i am not curious at all …
I was an extremely curious person growing up–much to my parent's grief--and I'm still quite curious. I'll investigate just about anything, really. I think it's generally a good thing, that it's important to broaden one's interests and educate yourself about the world.
Things that I'm not curious about:
Anything else, I'm willing to explore (at least until I discover if it's interesting to me and warrants further study).
I'm curious as to why only cats get killed for being curious.
Surely there are some curious opossums that the world can be rid of.

I'm not REALLY Deadpool….
I'm curious as to why the "o" is silent in "opossum."
I don't understand why some people consider curious people (like me) annoying. :'c It's so fun to learn about new stuff!! And even more fun to learn about new people! @w@ I get overly excited when I meet someone new and I try to learn everything I can about them because every person is so different than the other and has so many different views and experiences than I do! It's awesome!! 8D

Oh, well that clears that up.
Things that make me curious…
Okay...Violence, Fights, Debates, Controversy...Cool-looking stuff...
@Badass:
Oh, well that clears that up.
Indeed.
I'm curious as to why the "o" is silent in "opossum."
It isn't. An Opossum and a Possum are two different animals.
And just like that, my curiosity has lead to a great understanding of arboreal marsupials.
Good shit, thanks Sno. ^^
Curiosity and bad judgement is how I get into new stuff….then quickly forget it.
I am always curious about people's little secrets. Which is kinda weird because I don't gossip or anything, I just want to know…
I wouldn't say I'm overly curious but I am sort of.
Curious? Not particularly, but I do like to eavesdrop on conversations between others when I'm bored.

+1
I'm not that curious, but when I hear something interesting or some weird rumor starts spreading around, I turn into Sherlock Holmes.
I am a very curious person. I hate not knowing something I want to know/should know/other people know but won't tell me for some reason. It drives me insane.
I can assure you that I am dead a thousand times over.
But that's mostly because I have a bad luck and the things I investigate turn out to be horrifying and I die a little inside
Curiouser and curiouser.

I know that feeling. I get so incredibly frustrated I want to punch someone XD

This!
I'm very curious. When someone starts saying something and then goes "never mind", I won't rest until I find out what they were going to say.
It used to be a lot worse when I was younger. For instance there was this child's rhyme about a woman getting murdered (sounds more wrong than it was) and I kept wanting to know more about what exactly happened :p.
When I was younger (or even sometimes now), I had to ask about everything. I got mad each time someone withheld information from me, even for small details like where we were going for dinner.
It's a little different now, though. I'm usually intensely curious about certain areas, but more or less nonchalant about others. Like people; I'm very very interested in people and how they feel and think and why that is so, etc. It applies to myself, even; I can spend hours trying to figure out why I feel a particular way or why I react in this manner or why my instincts are as such. And it drives me crazy if I can't find a satisfactory (doesn't have to be concretely logical though) answer or explanation.

Things that I'm not curious about:
- most sports
- anything strictly math-related
- narcotics

yes yes and yes.

maybe some people don't like being so open. or maybe it's your approach. don't start jumping around and yipping like a hyper little puppy dog. :D some people just don't like playing 20 questions.
I always love to learn more about people and different things. I try not to be too intrusive or a bother though. some things arn't meant for everyone to know.
know what i hate? when people tell me "because" that's not a reason. Why do I have to carry the 1 in math? because. no. tell me why or it won't make sense to me. Why should I wash my hands before I handle food? because. well I guess it's not that important then if you can't give me a proper reason. >_> because is not an answer! I will accept "because I said so, if it's coming from someone in charge because, well, that's the reason. they get to make the call. (doesn't mean I have to agree)
yes yes and yes.

I don't "jump around, yipping like a hyper, little puppy" no matter if that's the impression I give you on the forums. I am probably one of the most relaxed, quiet people someone could meet in their life. I talk quietly and prefer to listen than to speak. I am also the kind of person that doesn't open up to random people and doesn't ask people she knows don't want to be asked things. I was talking mostly in the context of a classroom or such an environment when I am actually able to ask someone (the professor or the person accepting questions) things I want. Do you know how many fellow students of mine have called me annoying for actually asking things I wanted to know in the context of the lesson? Or how many friends of mine shushed me for asking things from people that didn't really mind? So basically I am complaining about the people that I wasn't even asking questions to.

Okay, now I'm curious. Tell me more.
i'm sorry. I should have stated that a little better. I wasn't stating that you do that. i don't know what you do or how you approach people. (ok well now i do, you just told me) I kinda had to learn that lesson on my own. I was picked on a lot growing up, so when someone did pay me attention, I was all over them. I see that now in other people and I think oh god, was that me. I try to be patient with people like that now, cause I understand where they are coming from, but it IS annoying. You get a better response from people if you calm down and don';t bombard them all at once. I just wanted to state that as part of my perspective.
and yes, that must be annoying to be shushed like that all the time. >_> that's how you learn. I got that on a job once. how am i supposed to learn to do a good job if i don't ask stuff and learn.
Okay, now I'm curious. Tell me more.
:D
Oh, it's been a while! And it was in Dutch. I'll try to remember and translate.
It was one of those clap-songs, you know, where you clap your hands together with another person and sing. With this one you had to sing a verse, while clapping, and after each verse you had to like depict what the song just said. I believe it went like this (originally it rhymed):
A woman has been murdered / With a curtain cord / I saw it myself / It was in room 10 / The blood ran off the stairs / It looked like tomato juice / I took a lick of it / It made me sick / I called up the police
.. and then it's just a bunch of gibberish which you had to say as fast as you could and then you could tickle the other.
And every time I heard it I was like… "Who was it? Who did it? Where was it? Whas this recently? Why won't anyone tell me!!"

Wow, that's a dark child's rhyme.
And licking the blood? Blegh.
Ring Around The Rosie has nothing on this.
I don't know about you people, but I can say without lying that my life would be a thousand times more boring, if I wasn't as curious as I am. Ever since I was two or three years old, I've been in the habit of hoarding tiny bits of information and forging them into moderate knowledge all because of my natural curiosity. Foolhardiness isn't a trait of mine, as I dread danger and pain - and know how to avoid them, but if there's anything new and interesting in sight that is accessible without risking anything, I will find out about it. This kind of behaviour isn't limited only to reading books or following different medias, as it also includes using every sense of mine to observe the surroundings. I'm without a doubt the silent observant type.. Oh yes, I know a lot more about every single one of you than you'd think.
It goes without saying, though, that you always have to remain critical. This world of ours is nowadays filled with impure wrong knowledge, lies and propaganda. Call me cynical for all I care, but even the "official" news are not to be trusted anymore. It always takes some effort to get at anything sensible and most likely truthful.
The world's definitely an interesting place. Those without any curiosity miss so much.
Curiosity only kills the cat if it doesn't have the capable judgement to not fuck itself over. It's what weeds out the weak cats from the deserving and righteous ones.
Any true Curious-onnoisseur would know they don't have to walk into the road to observe what happens when a car drives into something that is already in the road!
They test it on squirrels first. And then
Knowledge is gained.
I don't wanna know how you dear Holy, acquired that knowledge….
fluttershy would not approve of your methods holy. :O
I am a cat who has lost 8 lives.
But I won't stop being curious.
I am healthy curious; curious about things that matter. And I hate, wait well hate is a strong word let's say dislike.. no rather disapprove of people who are curious about futile stuff about people to gossip about.

Oh, well, this. If it's something private, or something like who argued with who or who broke up with who then I try not to care or ask about it unless I'm told about it directly by the person concerned. I really don't like gossip :/ It makes me look a little odd and aloof when I'm sitting quietly while a few other people discuss the problems of another person, but it'd make me feel more uncomfortable to join in, so I'm okay with it.

I am not fond of that kind of curiosity either.
i'm quite extreme. the things that interest me, i'm really curious about; the things that don't - i could care less for. for example, i'm curious as to why it is people say "could care less" instead of "couldn't care less"?
i swear, if i'm left to my devices i'd learn way more things than when i'm forced to sit in class and pretend that i'm listening to something useless/boring(to me) or both.
I'm so curious
And I've got laser eyes
I would say my curiosity already kicked, nailed, hang and killed the cat in a somewhat painful way, but I don't allow it to go that far. It's only in my mind now. I try not to feed it, I want to kill it but it only grows more hungry and feed on my sanity (but I got plenty enough of that Yohoho). I'm curious enough.
But yeah, I fancy pursuing the knowledge of random crap (I get obsessed and let it go after I drained it) but mostly stuff that is absolutely none of my business, you know the bad kind of knowledge (gossip) and would probably go to great lengths to get my hands on it. But when push comes to show I back out, not because I'm a good person (I'm morally baaad), but because I'm a blabber. I can't shut up or keep secrets full stop. It hurts my head, my brain gets fed up, it sends a signal and BAM! Enter mouth diarrhea. I advise people to think wisely before saying anything and I do tell them this, though very few take it seriously. So I don't want people to tell me theirs/others private business and thus I mostly walk away, and I'm dying a little for every step. I really, really, really want to know but… Dammit!!
And that is the end of my life story. If you want me to know your secrets and otherwise interesting stuff that you/others wants to share with the world do write. :whistling:
tl;dr ... I want to know a lot and I talk a lot. And I just found out that you can objectify-ish curiosity to curio. Noun vise-ly. Maybe.
I'm an explorer. I love going for walks and following old roads I've never been on. If I see something that interests me, I investigate it without fail. :)
curious enough to check this out, and then leave

Anyone know Godwin's law? We should create a new one called Chrissie's law with food in place of nazis.
Chrissie's Law
As an online discussion Chrissie takes part in grows longer, the probability of a post involving food approaches 1 (100%).
Chrissie's law. I like the sound of that.
My curiosity comes and goes. I mostly just ignore it if the matter seems too trivial or personal.
