I'm really liking this arc so far! I wasn't blown away by it in the manga but the comradery between the 3 flows really well in the anime I find.
I'm surprised they've added Naguri as a teacher for the 3 brothers since in the canon it is implied that they learnt all their skills themselves by living in the forest/fighting in the Gray Terminal/Bandits.
I'm doubly surprised that they have a filler character using CoC! Haha
Loving the animation and comedy elements so far this arc too!
I don't think Naguri has CoC… I think it's something similar to zoro's asura, I think that animal just sensed that he is stronger
I'll be honest, I was expecting 500 to be where the timeskip started, and I really don't see that happening now… ah well, Toei lost their chance.

I was told of a lot of made up story instances along with out of character phrases. Does that happen?
The only character conflict involves Ace getting very angry at Sabo for telling Luffy that Roger was his father and at Luffy for not shutting up about it in front of him, which will certainly be resolved by the end of the next episode.
