FUNimation will begin releasing the Uncut (newly dubbed) Saiyan saga in April. They are going to be redubbing the entire Saiyan and Namek saga'a along with the first few movies. This all leaves a few big questions: Will there be cussing, will they have the Japanese BGM and themes, will they get back all the same voice actors. If DBZ is reborn maybe they will redub the entire series again with the original BGM and cussing.

Adding swears isn't a good enough reason to redub the entire series. -_-
Anyway, I plan on getting this re-release eventually. I never did finish buying Dragon Ball though, heh. Guess I should do that first…

Watch the preview. Attempt to read the Japanese. They just used random characters, even for Goku and Vegeta's names. That company will just never cease to be half-assed. Such is life.

Um…..cool?
Now, where's the first 13 episodes of the original DB?
-
They already dubbed that didnt they? But Pioneer had the rights to the DVDs right?
-
Yes, they dubbed it, but I want a subbed version.
-
Well cool. As long as I can get to watch it subbed, this just may re-make a DbZ fan out of me. (Saiyan saga is my fav)

Yes, they dubbed it, but I want a subbed version. There will be subtitles along with the original Japanese on these DVDs. All of FUNimation's DBZ DVDs have had the original Japanese on it, so there's no reason that this would be any different.
I'm definitely looking forward to these new DVDs, but I hope they aren't going to cost too much.

I was talking about the first 13 episodes of DB. When does that license crap end?
