It's almost like trying to pick your favorite kid.

Sam the eagle and Bouregard are awesome, but Kermit is the best. The WORST is Clifford!
-
I agree, Clifford is pretty lame.
I have a lot I like.
-Statler and Waldorf (the two old guys)
- Gonzo
- Swedish Chef
- Dr. Teeth
- Zoot
- Lew Zealand (the fish throwing guy)
- Johnny Fiama and Sal (the Frank Sinatra spoof and his monkey sidekick, from Muppets Tonight)
- Bobo the bear (Muppets Tonight as well)
There's probably more that I forgot, oh well.
-
wow.. there's alot(ok, maybe not..xx).. um.. Animal would have to be my top favorite.. I love him.. um.. The Swedish Chef.. Miss Piggy&Gonzo.. Bwahahaha..oo they were the best..oo
-
Fozzie Bear! Wocka wocka!
Coming in tied for second are Rowlf the Dog and Scooter. -
Yoda. XD
No but seriously, Kermit.
-
Which one's Clifford? I don't remember him.
My favorites would have to be:
The Sweedish Chef
Statler and Waldorf
Animal
Dr TeethAnd I have to add the aliens from Sesame Streen, the octopus-looking ones that always started imitating cows. I loved them. I always wanted to be able to make my bottom lip extend over my face, I thought that was the coolest thing ever.

Gonzo or Animal.
-
Oh geez who to choose,
Fozzie bear is definitely my pick…
sigh I SO WISH I had Muppet's Treasure Island on my comp...that was literally the greatest.
man what I would give for that...
-
I LOVE GONZO AND RIZZO!
-
I love the Critics.
o/~ Why do we always come here?
o/~ I guess we'll never know.
o/~ It's like some kind of torture…
o/~ To have to watch the show! Those two just crack me up. ^_^
Other than that... Rowlf. ^_^ Any dog that plays piano is okay in my book... muppet or otherwise.
-
I have to go with Beaker and Bunsen Honeydew. It's the nerd in me I suppose. Fozzy and Gonzo tie for second because they are bth so darn funny in their own ways.
-
Can't beat The Great Gonzo. Muppet Christmas Carol is one of my favorites because Gonzo is the narrator, along with his great sidekick Rizzo. "God save my little broken body!" XD
nostalgic tears Ahhhh, where have the muppets gone? You don't get first-rate entertainment like that anymore.

ANIMAL!!!!!

Clifford was a new muppet created in the 90's when the Muppets had a new primetime show, Muppets Tonight. He was created to be the host of the show, so I guess they tried to make him all "cool" and stuff to appeal to a new generation, but he was just lame and gimmicky. He was some kind of… catfish rastafarian thing.
I'd post a picture, but I couldn't find any decent ones on Google Image Search.
-
Ahhhh, thanks Cap'n, I appreciate the info. :)

Think of a purple Muppet with Coolio's hairdo and you'll know what Clifford looks like.
-
I'd have to say Gonzo, especially when they started pairing him with Rizzo, those two are really funny together.
-
Gonzo!!!
-
Fozzy the Bear. He's funny.
:D Ahhh, Wocka, Wocka, Wocka, Ahhh!!! :D
-
Definitely the two old hecklers :D
-
Muppets…what a funny word...

My grandfather looks like the one with the mustache. Maybe I can find a pic comparing the two? Haha.
But ooooo! My favorite is ANIMAL!!! Him and Beaker. "Meep meep meep!"

I love Miss Piggy. She's a force of nature.
But the Swedish Chef is hilarious too.
