I remamber back in an old fourm, I use to complian about people whining over the dub about how terrible it was and maze of fear hit me when I think otakus are going against this country.

Now aside that seemsly racist view, I come to the point when I see how screwed up the dub is.

That's rigth, Oda's masterpiece work is just a piece of trash in America yet 4kids makes America look bad. Why do One Piece deserve this? We get toys that are crummy, we get an anime done badly by 4kids as they spent there time skipping and marging episode like crazy without caring about the ratings.

One Piece as we all know was created by Eiichiro Oda, he fills it with inspiration and his heart in it, it's sad to see it unpopluar and hated here, it sad to see the anime twisted by 4kids' selfish bussiness while toys are made poorly and games with weird graphics while games are filled with 4kids blog. Why does One Piece deserve the horrible experiance here?

One Piece hardly have any storng fanbase here while people likes Naruto and spits on One Piece for the "wierd artstyle". One Piece is storng in Japan and it should be storng here too but because of 4kids selfish desire to dub the series and not Funimation who can do a better job. Here One Piece is viewed as a joke, its so unpoplaur the uncut DVD is cancelled.

What is One Piece? It's a story filled with:
Character development
Clever plot twist
Inspirations
Unique characters
Educational values
Sub-plots
Unique story events
Ligth/Dark Balance
Emotion impact
Creativily
Unique battles
Generel genres

Yet One Piece deserve to be repected and taken with care, One Piece does not deserve all buthering and corruperation that 4kids/mattel/bandai is putting in.

This is why I perfer to read a manga because Viz is the olny compeny in USA to treat One Piece with respect.

Yes, we know this already… Of course One Piece doesn't deserve this, no anime does. But the truth is that it is happening. It's the harsh reality. I'd say the best course of action is to just forget about the dub and continue reading the manga and watching the fansubs like alot of us use to do. This statement has been going on and on and on that One Piece's dub sucks. It truely does. But 4Kids just doesn't care. I think we should all notice this by now. Let's just forget about this ENTIRELY (complaining too) and pretend it never happend. I know it's hard but what action will you do? Complain about it till you grow old or even die? We don't know how long the series will be and we don't know how long 4Kids plans to keep the lisence. It just all seems so futile to me.

i agree with u. the dub does suck all thanks to the evil work of 4kids and their actrocities on scamming kids with imaginary story(which one piece is not imaginary, but realistic) and making quick cash like drug dealers but now on the verge of losing money. i suggest that we should buy the manga version from viz (which is a little bit accurrate about the dialogue) so that we should support Oda. remember, that we should spread the word of One Piece( which is better than Naruto, but not offensively) and making it popular.

I guess all we have to do now is stick with the things that do matter. Like the manga and the original anime cause nothing could go wrong with One Piece when it comes to that. Your right, no anime deserves this, of course not Oda (poor Oda).
