Now i think i will complete shichibukai and sailing again crew then i think i will stop my POP collection (Baggy and Roger are the only character i want, i don't see other important chara to be made).

That's why I saw screw amiami, they murk you in the end for shipping especially POPs.
Better to go with HLJ or Ota, HS is sort of expensive too. Kind of regret having morah and perona on there, shipping will be murder

You need to add the weight of their shipping box too. And AMIAMI and Hobbysearch got the thickest shipping boxes.

That's what I'm saying. I might cancel them off there, even if they "don't allow it" I'm not going to drop like 300 for 2 pops, lol.

That's worse if not as bad as Ami, glad I pretty much stopped using HS anyway

i usually buy magazines out there and i usually pay the same price of the magazine, it's like paying the shit twice!
if perona shipping is high i will drop her, i don't have much money the upcoming month to put in shipping, cause it's nearly killing my wallet that shipping rate!

It's not really AmiAmi or HOBBY SEARCH's fault. EMS from Japan is just generally expensive.

Key thing to note here is "
Up to", which means even if you go 1 gram over, you fall into the next bracket.

I suspect that once packaged Doflamingo weighs in at over 2000g, even if it's 2001g that falls into the

"
Up to 2500g" bracket.

This is why i'm done with ordering from Japan now! Fuck the golden sticker! XD

so that means I'll be paying about $80 USD for Don himself and $67 USD for his shipping ….. a minuscule $13 difference between the cost of the actual figure and the cost to ship him. I'm not really a fan of having to pay almost double the price for one figure, but what can you do.

Every POP is a different case, because boxes aren't standard. Best shop doesn't exist…or maybe the shop that makes a different custom declaration so one can save that money, but it's not the case of Amiami, Hlj or Hobbysearch.

Looks like otacute's offer is the best one. ¥5300 for both figures when choosing SAL parcel; making a total of ¥18300.

Fuck if only they marked their packages as gift/low value then this would be so much easier to decide.

If you want him you should get him right away. That's the first decent Chopper in a while so it'll sell out quickly. Just use sensui's proxy (Hiromi) since it's the best way to secure limited figures.

That's true. But looking at the prices at the moment most limited figures are now at a price range above or almost the same when they were on sale (official price).
That chopper is only sold a tad more expensive than the original price. That's why I grabbed him. I doubt he will drop below his original price anytime soon.
Let's see how my gamble turns out XD

I think Mr.2 was Special limited. There was a limited number to get. This chopper looks like it will be produced like all the other limited choppers in more quantity. But as I mentioned above. The price at BiJ is okay and I don't expect him to drop below his original price after release. ^^

But they should put this Chopper, Boa bikini, Luffy marineford repainted, Nami bikini as EXCLUSIVE.

But they should put this Chopper, Boa bikini, Luffy marineford repainted, Nami bikini as EXCLUSIVE.

And most of the time, its easier to get them than a normal POP. Cos it seems they are made based on order quantities.

You can usually tell what's going to be limited and what's going to be uber limited from who stocks them. Normal limited tend to get international releases so you see them at Hobby Frontier (SG), ToysLogic (US), UP (UK). The uber limited ones only get a Japanese release through single retailers or prize draws like Luffy + Toriko, Garp Ver.0 or Dome Tour Bon chan. I expect Chopper to be available for a while, like Bikini's, Boa Wedding Ver., Ace 1.5 Repaint, Nami V2 Repaint & JF-Luffy. Hopefully Otacute will have him up in a few days.

Megahouse (or Bandai or others companies) make products sold online in stock only in the quantity ordered by customers.
But resellers order, for instance, many copies and remain to them. When this stuff is released, is sold out by the company. Stuff remains only in resellers, not authorized because these are products sellable only online in sites like megatrea or toei shop, ecc…

Other members complained about that problem as well. From what I remember, amiami apologized for the inconveniences and asked the customers to pay via PayPal for the time being.

and for Luke, I paid on 18/4 without problems too.

I dunno about that, but I ran into the same problem when trying to pay for my shining heart figures. Changed my credit card anyway, and paid successfully via paypal. I just hope it's not a long term issue, cos I'd really prefer to avoid paypal exchange rates where possible.
