I've been curious about the Banpresto DX sets for Naruto, and recently bought Itachi though I suspect he won't be in my hands for a while. In the meantime I was hunting for pictures, found galleries of him and Sasuke if anyone's interested:

I think Itachi came out much better than Sasuke, who looks a bit stiff and expressionless (big surprise for Sasuke XD).I agree that they do look a bit stiff. I am not sure if you've seen all the little naruto trading figures out there, but they look a lot more natural than this line. I admit that I am tempted because of it's size. I only want certain characters to stand right next to the Grandline men. It's different with one piece though. The older stylings and smaller figures were just terrible for the most part. So, getting the grandline series was pretty much a no brainer.
Those are from Kuji Fate/Zero Part.2 right? The part.1 is quite big with Rider 24 cm and Gilgamesh 22 cm. Looking forward to the final product. Actually quite impressed with Megahouse Rider but the EMS shipping put me off. Might try to get him once ge hit the bargain price. Thanks for the Saber preview link, but I still think her face looks off.
I am not sure if they are from Kuji Fate/Zero Part.2. I've tried to look them up, but I couldn't find any info on them. If they are 22cm, that would be awesome. I'd have to see the final product first though. As for the Megahouse Rider, I just feel he should look a lot better to warrant that price.

Yeah they really flopped, but I'm finding that's happening quite frequently now. I'm used to my expectations flopping when I receive a figure.
They're awful, lol pass. I agree the Itachi wasn't too bad.
Lol Figuarts tried but they failed too. Don't worry I wouldn't inflict that pain on yourself either, it's just more money wasted and more space taken up.
The DPCF Naruto looks great, depending on user photos I may pick him up now rather than later, Plex seems to want to do ambitious things with Naruto (Sage Mode Rasenshuriken and Monster strength Tsuande/Sakura, so I look forward to it. -

I seen those but I'm dissapointed theres no action effects like a machine gun burst or a switch out mini gun on their canon, etc. If I didn't have so much for Dec. already I'd buy the blue one, it would be awesome to have a couple walking down a wall or something heh.

I tried to input several things in Japanese and it didn't come up, but on the Mandarake site there were no problems finding the items. I need to enter something really broad, like 'One Piece' and get updates on EVERYTHING, which I think will be annoying... >_<;;

If your having trouble finding it, I usually just copy and paste the item name from Manda and then use it in the figinstock search, that works 100% of the time for me. The figinstock search is very vague so it won't work unless you have the like exact line from the item name

well, I typed 'one piece ace' and nothing came up. I search that at Mandarake and get tons of stuff. so… >_<;; Mandarake is just unreliable in the way that their products are worded, and many times there are no 'spaces' between the words so it makes it even harder.

It's stupid but I find you have to find the exact item you want in Manda and then search it in fig in stock, broad searches will just leave you scratching your head

Also figinstock is very slow sometimes to send reports to your email. Sometimes its 1-2minutes….and in some tests i made, sometimes it took almost 24hours to receive an email about that item, since it was posted on Manda. Which isnt very good we can end up loosing the oportunity for such a big time frame.

I was able to score some nice and rare figures with the help of that site. I always put the name of the character for my alerts. You'll get more alerts this way BUT you'll not miss that one item you're looking for either. -

^ Using SAL? HLJ don't offer SAL Registered so if you use SAL, they ship with unregistered one. It could be two weeks or three months. There's no certainty with unregistered SAL. One of my package from HLJ went around the world for three months before it found my address, the others two weeks. So good luck with your package!

At least your still getting yours, I just got an email saying the distributer of its the north American release couldn't get the rights and (yet they took preorders) and now I won't be able to get the two I ordered and possibly none at all now since it will be hard to come by. Super pissed now

Never really ordered from many out of the country places besides play asia and angolz, how are ami ami with shipping prices and reliability? It was about 7200 yen (registered SAL shipping not added to that yet, hopefully im not overpaying)

Amiami is very fair with shipping, too me in Canada a Figma averages 650-900yen SAL shipping. The thing about registered is it adds 410yen period to the SAL cost. So for 2 Figmas you will easily be looking at $15usd or more by registered SAL.

Those penguins are super cute, a very strong selling point. I agree that Alter's version is solfter and nicer in a way. Somehow though, the GSC version seems to look a little bit more like the character. It is only my opinion though. Either way, they are both very beautifully done.

This month is definitely UtaPri Petits'
Not less than 3 kinds (maybe I even missed some). I actually didn't notice they wer all released at the same time until I received them. We have, GSC's Petit Nendoroid, Bandai's Deformeister Petit, and Megahouse's Petit Chara Land.
They make me want to reconsider buying Alter's 1/8 since their faces are so disappointing. Ultimately, I might have still be tempted if they were in their school uniforms but… The idol outfit is so corny XD It's okay for chibis though~
(btw I won't keep the whole set but I don't think anyone other than Roro would want them, and she'd probably want the same as me)
I also received some Hyouka goodies
I thought they would quench my need for figure but I actually want them even more now… щ(ºДºщ)Another set of Persona 4 Chara Fortune. ¯(ﾟ∀ﾟ)/¯ I never grow tired of them !
