He's simply fantastic
Love the way he's pulling his cape in here, looks sweet. Attention to detail is apparent
His cape is sculpted to have tattered fringes in some parts along the edges, adding a battle damage effect, love it. The boots are a glossy black plastic and look great. Overall the design by Jim Lee is quite appealing.
The base for Bats was done wonderfully. Minimalist and to the point with a nice bat symbol emblazoned into the surface of the base. This design can be seen on the back too.
Excellent touch.
I would have liked for there to be a yellow background behind the bat symbol in a throwback to the black on yellow motif prominently displayed by classic Bats, but this is perfectly acceptable also.
The utility belt is gorgeous, great shading, detail and sculpt. Each packet actually looks like it houses a gadget awaiting use from the Dark Knight. The main belt clasp is bare though, this one one of my gripes with the figure. A bat logo or something should have been inscribed in the middle there. It's basically asking for it, but what can you do? :P
:wub:
Here he is side by side by his base. It's quite large actually. I've been somewhat desensitized to large figures (with the acquisition of various POP (Whitebeard Brook), IK (Ohzaru, Young Newgate) etc. But Bats is still pretty big. Love it.
So good.
Batman and his daughter.
~ Overall he's excellent, 10/10. The paint is dead on, there are a couple minute things that bother me like the no emblem on his belt and a couple scratches in the plastic on his cape fringes, but I mean it's barely noticeable. (The ridges and frays you see on the left part of his cape are meant to be there) Really good job by Koto here and I definitely recommend it if you like it. I think I'll hunt down the blue version to this too. Very sturdy, made entirely of plastic (ABS/PVC) so even if it falls it's really not getting damaged or anything like that. It can stand on it's own without the base or pair it with the base (takes up the same amount of space regardless). Love the muscle defition and toning throughout the piece, the seam lines are not noticeable at all, and the major seam line that connescts his arm to his shoulder is again not notceale in person unless you're looking for it. Definitely one for the books.
Judging by how amazing this one turned out I'm seriously anticipating this version 1/6 scale also ^^:

–- Update From New Post Merge ---
@maggie:
For the Ao no Exorcist GEMs, does anyone think that it's something that should be pre-ordered or will it hit the bargain bin? I've been reading the series and I like it, quality art. I've always liked Rin's character design, and now since I'm reading the series I have more of an excuse to buy the GEM.

But do I preorder, or do I wait…?
Wait, it won't sell pout and you can make your decision when you see actual pics etc. I find myself waiting for a lot of stuff now, wait and then order. You may thank yourself for it.
