Chucky! He is one of my childhood horror maskots and I watch every Chucky movies since I was a kid.
Pinhead - Also one of my childhood horror movie icon. Hellraiser 2 was one of the best horror films that I've seen. Also, Pinhead he is one of the guardians of the underworld, but he still give chances to does who accidentally went there, He is also calm and a great thinker.
Billy- I'm a big Saw fan! Also, Billy shows up in Dead Silence, which is also a good movie.
Freddy - Freddy is growing on me since I have watch some Nightmare on the Elm street videos. The guy who played him (Robert Englund) is such a great actor.
Jason - Because he has a crazy mother! LOL! And also solely for this video:

I dont know about u westerners. But I have always find that Sadako/Samara or whatever she's called, is definitely the scariest. A couple of those guys above appeared in my dreams once, and I could get back to sleep right after. sorry guys, but hannibal IS NOT horror … it's THRILLER. not HORROR. so even though he'd probably win the categorie of "most awesome magnificent bastard" .. or "best villain ever" .. he is not a horror movie killer. otherwise anton chigurh should have been in that poll too. but he isn't since he's not in a horror movie .. just like hannibal.

I am also not voting for that "samara" since that would mean it's the american version of the ring, and I hate US remakes of already awesome movies. I'd vote for sadako however. but she's not in the poll. poor sadako.

You should probably rewatch IT. Tim Curry is hilarious, not scary at all.

I guess I can understand maybe being scared by him when you're a little kid, but… not scary in the least.

Also, Hannibal is eventually out of prison and goes around killing people. He's most famous for his "I'm constrained in a jail cell and I'm an evil mastermind" role, but he does get around and mess with people. And plays psychological tricks. Which is a lot scarier than lumbering brutes in some cases.

Damn, why didnt I see the Multiple Vote Option earlier. Eh, Freddy deserved it the most anyway. Did any of the other guys turn on of their victims into a cockroach and crushed her? No, no they didnt. Did any of these guys feed a girl her own intestines until she choked on them? No, they didnt. Did any of these guys drag a screaming girlalong the walls and up the ceiling while cutting her whole body up? Well, maybe, I havent seen all the Friday the 13th movies. Anyway, Freddy is best because he has the most imaginative ways of killing people.

I also love Ghostface. He just seems more realistic than the other ones. I mean, a real psychopatic killer would probably make a few mistakes, trip over things sometimes and get killed in the end.

Scariest though? Michael Myers, Chucky (I hate dolls) and freaking Samara. God, I cant watch the Ring, its horrifying to me.

I saw Scream for the very first time when I was 7 or 8 years old. I had never seen a horror movie before. and only saw one scene of it (the garage scene). It unsettled me a lot. Over the years my memory turned it into something more and more awful and twisted until I was dead sure that the garage door chopped that woman's head clean off. It was such a gruesome image. I was so certain of it … until I saw it again for the first time. And that was last week.

Also Hannibal. Because he is legitimately scary.
