I have just finished the Thriller Bark arc….
I asked my friends on their opinions on Crocodile, Enel, Rob Lucci and Geko Morriah... And their responses were underrating all of these characters.... (I don't care much about Arlong and Buggy)
I'm not sayin that Luffy should lose but the people he defeats shouldn't be underrated.
Let's look at Crocodile -
He nearly KILLED Luffy twice and Luffy needed to use Crocodile's weakness in order to win.
Enel - Luffy was already a counter to Enel from the beginning so Enel was basically useless against him.
Rob Lucci - After Rob Lucci was knocked out, Luffy was useless meaning he didn't have any strength left to even move. Meaning, Rob Lucci was even with Luffy at that point in time in my opinion.
Geko Morriah - In my opinion, Geko Morriah's potential wasn't shown in the fight between him and Luffy and this was probably because Luffy, of course, needed to win.
