Arlong vs. Blueno

"Oy, human… Why not give up? It's clear who's superior."

"... You're a wanted criminal. I'm a government agent. It's clear what my duty is... !!"

With a scoff, Arlong started laughing. "SHA-ha-ha-ha!! YOU are going to take ME down? SHA-ha-ha-ha!!!!"

The fishman's eyes lowered, reappearing dangerously similar to a wild beast's.

"WHAT IMPUDENCE."

Blueno, without any hesitation, crouched, ready for a "Soru-Shigan" combo. Arlong simply stood where he was, without moving, the epitome of an evil badass bastard.

Arlong's so great. He's not afraid to speak the truth– that there is a superior caste, and his kind is it. Luffy never really even did him in-- only cheap contractors did that.

I love his vision of conquest and "milking" rather than the traditional plunder and leave pirate business model.

And his body isn't too bad either... it's no Kurobi :wub: but still plenty tight.

I voted for Blueno because when I first saw Arlong, I kind of already knew what kind of evil he was capable of. Whereas with Bleuno, I thought he would be a minor player until he took off the bear costume in Iceberg's room. Not to mention, that air door kicks ass.

Blueno charged with his "Soru," darting forward with unseeable speed.

"Rankyaku"

With just his bare hand, however, Arlong blocked the kick, with some significant damage, and landed his fist squarely in Blueno's face; the former bartender flew back, his left "horn" cracking slightly. He caught himself, however, and again shot out with "Soru," this time calling out "Shigan!"

The finger pierced Arlong's blocking arm, wrenching free to cause great pain.

"… Insignificant little speck... !!"

Even before Blueno had stopped moving, Arlong grasped him by the face, swinging him around and around before slamming him towards the ground.

"Tekkai!!!"

The Tekkai had no effect, but the ground did, in fact, break open that much harder. With the force behind Arlong's hand, Blueno was driven into the ground, breathing in dust and dirt, until he at last gave up and went unconscious.

Arlong removed his hand, and spat on Blueno's back.

"Humans... They just don't GET it... !!"
