No, I mean their eyes would look normal except when they activated Byakugan. Kishi got away with worse, plenty of times.
And for starters, not sure I'm buying that forgetfulness thing. It's not like he drew the last chapter in 5 minutes. But as he said, it would make things complicated.

Kishi’s now busy thinking the scenario.I don't like the vibe I get from this. It sounds like writing just for the sake of writing. Like he will pull it off regardless of whether he will have a good idea or not.
However, I really hope that Kishi actually bethinks of what made Naruto good back in the old days.

Kishi is going to forget to give the third child whiskers. So he would have to make a fourth child and then he's going to remember that Uzumaki's should have red hair and he'll make fifth child and then forgot some other detail and it'll keep going on and on until there's 20 kids and they make there own village for the next next series.

Although you never know, he may be the main villain of the boruto spin-off, running around with a mask and his group of evil high school kids from all the cities in the ninja world, collecting limited editions of the tailed beasts figures, that boruto and his friends need to get back.

That doesn't count. We KNOW that main title characters in any action/adventure manga will have combat skills.
It comes witht the title of 'main character'. Maybe not at the beginning, but at some point the MC will kick ass.

ITs a level of dumbass that doesn't realize that a gal love ya even when gal that threw herself forward into the fight to protect Naruto and says its because she's loves him.
Oh for the record… I LOVED the fight against Neji! It was in the one period of Naruto I don't mind rereading (its before the time-skip)

Well the farting was an accident, I'll give you that. But I wasn't talking about the fart. I liked how he made Kiba doubt his own refined senses for a while.
Actually, it always baffled me how Naruto wasn't even made Chuunin after exams. Yeah, he risked too much, blah blah blah. Nonsense. Iruka is a Chuunin, for crying out loud.

Yeah I loved the Naruto's wins that happened before the time skip, esp in the Chunin exams. I could say something snarky like "I wish he applied the smarts he has in fights in real life"… but then the story wouldn't as funny.
I liked all the battles he had during the chunnin exams but still the one with Neji was the best. Though I enjoyed the scrimmages against Orochimaru in the forest as well.

No he didn't. Neji hit all his pressure points and he couldn't move. He'd lost the fight. Then on pure instinct the fox opened up a second set of chakrea. Naruto didn't do that consciously, that was the fox saving him.
It wasn't berserk mode, but it was entirely the fox.

And really thanks for the link. As I've said before, I loved the fight between Neji and Naruto. Its easy to forget sometimes (due to not reading that arc in years) what an ass Neji was back then, before he calmed down after Naruto defeated him.

That in spite of the hand that fate has dealt you, even with the perception that only a handful of the myriad of ninjas around are qualified to become hokage, with enough hard work and determination, even a loser like Naruto can overturn his fate.
Which of course goes in line with Naruto's whole predestination schtick later on in the series.
