Next chapter Itachi summons his Susanoo, seals Nagato in the dumb bliss bottle genjutsu thing and then Kabuto realizes too late that he should have undone the edo tensei jutsu on Itachi last chapter.
Predictable. Zero tension. Stupidity. Naruto.
And I was right. We were supposed to wonder what kind of sharingan variation the crow had. Too bad I don't give a crap.

It looks like Shisui's Mangekyou Sharingan is gone now because Itachi already 'used' the crow. So Naruto has to do his Jesus thing to redeem his boyfriend.
But don't forget one thing guys… he's here... along with the clam... Uchiha Crow!

Was I the only one wanting to see the raikage just sholder rush someone this chapter(i know it wouldn't make sense but that's how it would fit into kishi plot). Fuck, nagato is way stronger in this form than the six paths. Why isn't naruto using his ungodly speed. It's time to stop playing around. It's a fucking war. Use sage mode and floor nagato's ass.
Im confused on two things. Why in gods name didn't nagato just use his techniques himself when he fought Naruto and is the crow Naruto's new summon.

Okay, so first of all, we have the new Koto-Amatsukami, who looks like a Swastika with Geass like power, to control someone without them noticing. So, does this mean that the clash between Naruto and Sasuka can be resolved easily with this new hax powers? No, more than that, is this really supposed to be heroic? I mean, this is basically brainwashing, right? Forcing someone to do something against their will, while not realizing what they do is against their will at all? I mean, even Kabuto (you know, the big bad guy we're fighting right now) gave the zombies he's controlling some semblance of their original character. It just seem WAY too convenient for Naruto to sidestep his dilemma of choosing between the village he lived in and love and his fallen best friend, that he can protect Konoha and not kill Sasuke (just, you know, kill his personality instead).
Oh God, I hadn't even thought of that. Itachi wanted to map over Sasuke's mind.
Could be an interesting ethical dilemma, but of course it won't be explored.

Trying to think what's worse
The fact that Itachi is pulling this many chessmaster moves that predicted both his death and Sasuke's betrayal, and succeeding.
The fact that Naruto was given hax.
The fact that Itachi does have this power to control people's mind (though I don't really understand the "limitations" as to why it couldn't be used before or if it would only work on Itachi's eyes)
or the fact that Itachi's plan rests on brainwashing his brother to following his orders and doing something against his will like protecting Konoha(though it's likely Madara is doing the same) -
So, if I understand it right, Naruto has the power to burn people with the Fires of Hell? Well, that's a power usually seen by Jesus-lite heroes, I guess.

Then whoops another one pops up, Susanoo.
Then ANOTHER ULTIMATE technique, Tsukuyomi.
Have you had enough of ultimate techniques? Nah, of course you hadn't, so here you get, Koto Amatsukami or whatever. -

Yeah, that's the part that really bothers me. Sharingan having hax powers is par for the course in Naruto so complaining about that would be beating a dead horse, but this is something else. I can see Itachi having no problem with it as he gives the impression of "end justifies the means" kind of guy to me, but Naruto is supposed to the hero here, the moral center and he shows now qualms whatsoever about brainwashing his best friend. Even Identity Crisis and Professor X is shown to have some dilemma in brainwashing bad guys, but here it seems like "welp that's real convenient and solve my dilemma perfectly, thanks for the hax eye Itachi." There are still ways Kishi can fix this, like for example having Naruto not realizing the full implication of the power he has now (he never has been the brightest bulb), or even simply having it unsuccessful (but please oh please don't have it due to Sasuke's own eye jutsu) and address the dilemma later.
Because if not, I can totally see something like this happening:
Shikamaru: Naruto, I understand Sasuke is your best friend, but he betrayed the village and committed crimes against it, so he has to be brought to justice.
Naruto: Nope! See, that was old Sasuke, this one is different! He's the brand new, brainwashed Sasuke! He's protecting the village now, and as such can't be punished for crimes he can't remember doing! So let's all forget about it and forgive him, and accept him as part of our ninja family. We're all BFF again, let's celebrate!Sasuke eventual redemption is bad enough, but not actually doing the trouble to do it may be even worse.

This is all Itachi's fault! If he hadn't appeared in the series, we wouldn't have all of these variations of the Sharingan.
Oh wow, a lot of things wouldn't happen if Sasuke never found Itachi. -

Kotoamatsukami is actually the collective term for the forces that became the Japanese gods Amaterasu, Izanami, Izanagi, etc. Sort of a divine primordial soup.

This image seriously freaks me out. Anyway chapter wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be but it still focuses almost entirely on the Uchiha so my interest is pretty much immediately at absolute zero. All in all a rather boring chapter. At least Nagato and Bee's (very brief) fight was pretty cool. Orange Naruto Astma Attack I'd say. The worst part is that The Heart White is edging closer and closer and closer. Beware.

God this was stupid. Everything concerning St. Itachi and his ingenious plottings is, but this was an extra large sharingan-wank order of stupid.
Why the hell have we never heard of this super-über-best ever Uchiha and his overpowered ability before? And since now theres individual random abilities as well, are there really no things these eyes can do?
Why was Danzo having a freaking brainwashing machine never brought up?
So, the thing can only be used every ten years? Thats still plenty of time to have used it since Itachi defected. Say, on GODDAMN MADARA or Orochimaru for instance. And he says he couldn't use it on Sasuke because of the ten year interval…but how long is this really after Sasuke vs Itachi? A few weeks/months? Could Itachi really not have stalled for a while longer- or saved it up and used it?
Where the hell has this eye been while with Itachi? It doesn't seem like Itachi traded one of his eyes for it, so did Uchiha McGuffin just shoot a crow out his skull and down Itachis throat for safekeeping? The narutoverse can transform bodyparts to and fro chakra?!
Why did McGuffin Uchiha give Itachi the eye?!! Was he also a pacifist anti Uchiha Uchiha? Then why didn't he help with Itachis mission! In fact, why did he even die?!
Itachi having these backup Sasuke plans is weird. This whole crow thing is based around the assumption that Sasuke would steal Itachis eyes. But why would Itachi think Sasuke would do that? He was trying to make a hero out of Sasuke, and had no idea that Madara was onto him and would blabber about the Uchiha history. Dude, either you knew you would turn your little bro into a menace against konoha, or you didn't.
Also, seeing as how it was just used on Itachi, is the crow now out of juice for the next ten years? In other words, completely useless, nigh pointless?
