I'm surprised that no one has posted about this over the last few days since I've seen it appear over quite a few United Kingdom websites that cover anime related news but I guess it didn't really spread fast enough.
Anyway, Uniqlo is a Japanese clothing company that has an international front and has stores in America, France, UK and etc. Now, on the 21st, they started selling officially licensed One Piece shirts through their online store. I have previously purchased the Dragon Ball shirts they offered a while back through them and I can indeed confirm they were licensed through Toei Animation themselves, since they feature a sliver sticker on the tags.
Now, here is where things get interesting. The UK website features exclusive designs that I don't believe even cropped up on the Japanese websites, such as the 'LABOOOOON!!' and 'SCARS ON THE BACK ARE A SWORDSMAN'S SHAME'.
Considering how cheap these shirts are compared to the ones released elsewhere in Japan and, while some of the designs aren't honestly that great, some of them are worth the price of entry in my opinion. How often does the chance come up when you can purchase a One Piece parody of the Beetles or a shirt with a giant whale on it? Seriously, if you're a fan of One Piece, I'd recommend at least checking out the link I included below:
