True. There's a vast difference between making a valid complaint and just plain whining.
Valid complaint: TOEI flubbing a scene by adding filler that deviates from the manga and someone pointing it out that changes the meaning of the scene completely.
Whining: Someone just dropping in and posting something like "Argh horrible episode again. TOEI ruined everything, the anime sucks!" etc.

People have the complaint that the music and the scenes showing the people celebrating wasn't good. I actually thought it was good, especially the music for the episode as a whole. Those scenes prove what Flamingo said,
"The winner is what will be declared justice", people only see one thing from the report, Navy wins! They showed the people from all over celebrating, most probably have never seen Whitebeard in person. The idea that pirates are evil, is quite understandable.
Apply it to yourself, the pirates in Somalia aren't for anything upstanding. The thing that makes them pirates is raiding ships and holding people hostage.
I think it was sort of sad and uncomfortable seeing the marines celebrating, but I think it was right. It is something that I don't feel shouldn't be there.
I rewatched the scene where Sengoku is and I have to say I'm disappointed…

Seeing that Law is primarily known to the navy for saving a man who would probably be a great danger to the World Government, I doubt he's a top choice.
I'm personally of the opinion that the Shichibukai position can just be abolished for the second half of the story, but I doubt Oda agrees with me.

No you don't. I'll thank you to not go around putting words in my mouth, and kindly don't foist off the behaviour of other posters on me when attempting to change the topic. The topic we're talking about is mindless complaining, not mindless hype.
But since you asked, valid praise goes by the same rules as valid complaints. Empty hype is just slightly less annoying and empty whining though, so whining gets more immediate attention, while empty hype gets the backlash later in the form of disappointment.
I think people focus on the animation and story-line consistency far more than they did in other arcs because… well, frankly, it is all there has been to see about this arc. The war has no light-hearted banter (stupid buggy filler exempted), lacks the elemental strawhat chemistry and all that other stuff... so as a result, we force ourselves to stare at the epic that was in the manga and compare it. The strongest point of the anime has in my eyes always been the strawhat interactions, and without those to leave a positive impression it does become something that deserves a far better animation budget with far less still-shots.
Overall, decent episode. The dancing people could have used a few frames more in all instances though imo.

He's the random dude who attacked Foodvalten this episode. In the manga it clearly shows him attacking the place, but the anime blocked him off and only showed his belt. It was kind of pointless thing to do though because he isn't an important character in the first place.
