uhm, i'm new here (obviously) i started watching OP a bit less than a month ago, i'm currently watching ep. 208!
aaand uh, not gonna lie, pretty much only made this account so i could use this avatar. I saw it in ep 207 and literally could not stop laughing.

You're not that far into the series, you really should read the manga.
yea? i figured i might try after i get caught up with the anime..
is there any particular reasons why? i mean typically the source material is better but I've heard with OP the differences aren't very noticeable. although i wouldnt mind not have to go through filler arcs..
Hello! Welcome to AP! I know you will enjoy your time here! Even if you don't want to read the manga and watch the anime, you can pretty much skip the filler arcs. They don't get talked about much around here.
thanks! and it's not really that I don't want to, I love read manga, I'm just curious as to if OP is like.. say.. Fullmetal Alchemist where the manga is almost completely different than the anime (pre brotherhood) or if the anime follows the manga pretty well
The anime will add in some fillers here and there but for the most part, the anime sticks to what the mange had in it. The only major things that the anime has done is put in the filler arcs.

and I do think you should read the manga. the content might not be drastically different, but I think it's quite a different (and possibly better) experience.

I agree with this statement. To me it seems that be reading the manga you get more out of it then watching the anime.
reading the manga should be better then watching the whole anime

Watching the anime is good fun with the voices and the music and everything, but the manga does the story a lot more justice. The pacing is better, the anime tends to stretch out important events. A good thing would be to first read the manga and afterwards watch the anime, so the manga is your first source to know what happens.
