Nami vs Kalifa will be very interesting; both women received power-up recently, and were just getting the hang of it. Kalifa, despite being the weakest of the 6, will prove to be a very tough opponent for Nami.
Predictions:
Zoro's fight would probably end with Zoro landing only one blow on the opponent; most of the fight would be him trying to land that blow… (Mr. 1, Braham, Ohm... all one hit)
If SogeKing does go against Kaku, it'll be one on one. If he goes against Fukurou, then it would be a tag team with Chopper.
it would be really funny if sanji and paulie watch nami and Kalifa fight.

I look at Kaku and...there is no way he's a bad guy. I wouldn't be surprised if he flipped.
Also...no disrespect to Sanji, but when he fights whatever CP9 member he goes up against, he is going to have a tough time.
Whether its Jabura or Kaku..he's going to have to pull something off like we haven't seen him do before.
Luffy and Zoro...we don't have to worry about them. The rest of the Strawhats we do though.

I wouldn't say anyone "can't beat" so and so. It's not a matter of who can but who will. I'm sure Oda knew who was going to beat who and for what reason as soon as he created the characters.

By the third time. Luffy lost the first time. There's no denying that.
And you can't deny that when all the crew had already won their fights, and Luffy came up for a rematch after giving a little talk about fighting Croc, that he lost again. I'm sure most of the readers at the time didn't expect it, and I don't even think I did. So no, it wasn't a given.

none of the strawhats are gonna lose their final fights in this arc,
it might look grim for them for one moment and then they turn the fight around and beat them senseless like they always do.

Come on. That is not a reasonable argument. Its kinda obvious that they are gonna surpass their enemies. Luffy not gonna die in this fight so that he can't become pirate king. It's not like the zoro vs. Mihawk fight. If strawhats lose they die and therefore the end of one piece.

hmm judging by his previous posts I'd say based on fanboy- or tardism.
There can't be any other. I, too, judge Sanji to be a bit weaker than Zoro, not much but still weaker, however I am aware that it's just a feeling based on no real evidence. Zoro just appears to be stronger to me, but there is no connection with Sanji being able to beat Kaku or not.

what is the general opinion where and how they are going to fight?
Will they fight tournament style in a series of one on one's on the rooftop? Cause the space is too limited for them to fight all at once, unless they all learn to fly.
That way there could be an emo-max scene of ussopp's mask breaking in front of luffy and the fights would begin immediately. However why should the CP9 chose to fight that way? They are killers no honorable warriors.
Or will there be one round of a grand melee until the CP9 realize that the SH are no pushover and then they separate and each SH follows one of them? It would be quite untypical for a shonen manga, but what about the other marines. If they separate, they'll encounter marines again and, although the marines pose no actual threat, they would annoy us in the middle of the real fights.
Or will the CP9 retreat and the SH follow them once the drawbridge is down?
That way Oda could create a better battlefield, where all fights could happen parallel, however what would have been the point of the cool standoff we had at the end of this chapter and luffy's "leave the rest to us" line?

The problem with the giant melee is that they would have to relocate, since there is hardly enough space on the roof for them all to fight at once. Although I have to say Sanji getting cut up by Zoro's 108 pound phoenix while Nami fries Chopper with her lightning sounds highly amusing.
I also don't think they'll separate, but I thought I should mention the possibility.

I agree, Kokolores, they will probably need to move to a larger place, but keep in mind that the CP9 doesn't need to be on the ground to fight. As for the Nami issue, that kind of brings back somthing i said a a while ago, that Nami needs to learn to funnel her otherwise large area attacks into a specific area.

Has it been suggested that maybe they will fight together in a manner that requires teamwork, like all of CP9 v. Strawhats or maybe even two teams of 3 each? Unlike an all out rumble, that would require them to be organized and not get in each other's way. I think that would be cool, considering a lot of what this arc has been leading up to is the unity of the crew.

Who says that they have to split up to fight seperately? As I just explained with the Arlong Park example, out of 8 fighters six remained together at the same place. And yet they fought 1 on 1 fights. I redirect you to chapter 81 again. The same discussion we´re having know could have happened back then too. And yet there wasn´t anything that didn´t make the 1 on 1 fights appear plausible. I don´t see why 1 on 1 fights are so impossible right now in Enies Lobby.

So there have been team fights before,and there do remain chances for team fghts in the future.
And the more i think about it, the more i find myselfrooting for a Zoro/Sanji team up against Kaku and Jyabura.

Hmmm… your right about Morgan.
But the DB fight was hardly a game. It was a fight. The rules were made up to suit it to the Foxy pirates. Hell they were planning on killing Zoro and Sanji with all the weapons and all.
That was so a fight, and it ended with their opponents being KO'ed. Boxing is a sport, but they boxers do fight you know.Nobody calls it a game.
And i also forgot to mention, Nami and Gon FOuru's fight against Satoru's brothers.
Sure its small in percentages, but hey that wasnt my point. It was in reply to Sabre saying that all the fights so far were 1v1s. I sont mind the fights going either way tbh as long as its not a brawl, where everybody overshadows everybody else.
In Skypiea, in the chapter 267 a batlle all vs all start, zoro, the snake, the old god, one priest (i don't remember his name) and his dog, waipa and 5 or 4 more. That isn't a battle 1 vs 1.

Werd!! I completely forgot about this. Its a huge brawl but people are still semi seperated. However this kind of makes an all out brawl LESS likely seeing as something of this nature allready happened.
