Why do people always expect Zephos to blow up on someone? Most people won't even reply to him if they feel they are getting targeted and his efforts are pretty much wasted on the nameless.

Confusion will most likely lead to someone asking who is Zephos? which would most likely make someone comment a statement of You don't know? You're dumb…or something similar. Then they would bicker on and on... a little jab of opinions from old members and then another useless argument springs forth. Of course this will be dealt with by mods/modlings through temp or perma bans.

I just see it as logical to use recent the username than addressing another member's new account with their former username.

I was just voicing out my opinion.

JERK DISEASE's previous account was Zephos. But then he got into a battle with Aohige. And lost. And was banned. And made a new account.
It's not hard to put two and two together.

Some people LIKE the pedigree they've earned through their long time here but, for one reason or another, can't use their old usernames.

Most of the time, the folks that go "who is Zephos" don't just ask "who's Zephos." They try to leap to conclusions about who he is or condescend and are surprised when nobody backs them up because they know better. That's what prompts the laughter, the jokes and eye rolls. Look, some folks have storied histories on these forums, just like any other. If a new member wants to know what those stories are, it's not like it's impossible to find out, if they ask nice enough.

Anyway, your proposal is a) impractical and b) never gonna happen, so why trouble yourself over it?

No, what I am saying is the use what is recent to avoid disarray of thoughts.

Because it brings confusion and useless arguments.

Knowing and addressing someone with their current username is a much efficient manner of evading and ignoring trolling activities. It is a practical.

It is for that reason that JERK DISEASE has opted to use his current username, why not addressed him/her with it.

It is practical, it may not happen because people just want to ignore its practicality. Because I am entitled to my opinion and I want to share it to benefit the members of this forum.

It does? I think it's the best ever. FOUR new anime shows I wanna watch when last time there wasn't really anything that drew me in at face-value.

Well, I dunno. Deadman, Kaiji, Gintama, and C, and everything else is sort of a crapshoot as far as I'm concerned. Like, this season I was surprised, because there were actually a good number of bitchin' shows and I'm watching more at once than I have in years (Madoka, Level E, Hourou Musuko, Kore wa Zombie, Star Driver and Rage ni Todoke). But I wasn't expecting that going in. But I'm really hesitant about the shounen adaptations. In generally, I'm extremely hard on inconsistently good shounen shows. Rather than viewing filler as a necessary evil, I get bored and go somewhere else.

I'll check out Tigerbunny because lolSunrise, but everything else must first prove itself to me, as I'm much harsher on what I watch than what I read.
