There's a major need of a Historie thread here!
From the creator of Parasyte, this manga proves to be a worthy challenge.
The story is pretty sweet I'd have to say, I love historical comics (how much is correct is debatable).
And the thing I like about it is that it feels it can become incredibly long.

Latest chapter release! Chapter 67, good beginning of a new kind of arc, we'll see how Eumenus will adapt to the Macedonians when he gets more and more influence. And what is the bald guy planning? Dun-Dun-Dun.

This is something I've read. Like Vinland Saga, I like the historical background of the story. Didn't care too much of the Alexander's childhood chapters, but Eumenes himself is a very interesting and clever character.

Yes, I just want Eumenes to start teaching that kid how to do things. And then they'll start to conquer the world = awesome.

I read through this. It's interesting but not really great. Kinda feels boring at parts. But it's a monthly manga so it doesn't take too long to read.
And yeah, it does take liberties in terms of historical accuracy.

There are like NO facts or litterature about Eumenes so yeah, making things up becomes a must, which in itself is great! No bounds.

I do like the setting and general air of the manga but it's definitely dry and boring in parts. I felt the same way about Parasyte/Kiseiju too, though; never thought it was a masterpiece like many others feel.

It doesn't help that the author is so slow, either. It does kind of suffer from HxH disease; I've seen many chapters in the magazine where the backgrounds are literally two-minute pencil sketches that get detailed and inked out by the time the book is out.

I was very interested when I started reading but like many very good manga with potential for greatness long as hiatuses or gaps in releases of translated scantalations keep me from having a lot to discuss about it right now.

Caught the last chap about chess but I still don't know where things are going yet.

I actually started to re-read this, since it was a while and I didn't remember early chapters that well. Couple things in the early going that shook me again:

The fact that everyone could treat Eumenes so differently when it was revealed he was really a Scythian. Well, except Charon…
... who had his own secret that he never got to tell Eumenes.

Historie is pretty much a bimonthly series. Previous chapter was published in August.

Keep in mind, it had a six month hiatus before the last chapter in August.

The break was from January to June, but yeah. Considering how much Iwaaki had to redraw for volume 9, it's only natural.
