I have a theory about the secret behind One Piece story.
It may sound strange, and I don't know if it was given before.
Here it comes…
The One Piece story is going on at a time more than 800 years ahead of today.
For accomplishing the dream of New World Order, USA and Israel desperately nuked the entire world to conquer it. They accomplished it, but the outcomes of this event destroyed all the technology on earth. And because of the high radiation, new species (ogres, weird animals, devil fruits, etc) started to appear.
The ancient weapons in the story are probably atom bomb and hydrogen bomb. Or other mass destruction weapons like them, like biological weapons or HAARP.
The new "World Government" prohibited research about the ancient past, because they don't want the people to learn the massacre their ancestors did.
After this war, they gathered all the remaining science books and documents, and kept them for themselves. This explains all the high tech science stuff appearing, like cyborgs and Vegapunk being 500 years ahead of worlds knowledge.
And the pirates are the heroes who are trying to reveal this dark history.
And One Piece is the "truth" behind the World Government. Gold Roger, by a little lying, made people go behind this truth. When someone finds out this "treasure" the World Government will be in real trouble.
So, what do you think about this conspiracy theory?

This is just a hunch and I get the feeling that he'll be pretty important in the story.
C) Luffy will run into Kaidou and be defeated
If Drake was really after Kaidou to fight him (which is crazy) he would lose for sure.
So he'll need the help of Luffy, and he'll be prepared this time.
D) Kuma will die later on in battle (don't know how though, the guy is god like)

Theory: Usopp;s dad is obviously the son of Gold Roger's sniper.
I mean, look at the evidence??? Why would Shanks seek out a guy with NO reputation, at all? His name has to have some weight behind it, obviously. And Usopp is the son of a great sniper, therefor Yassop must be as well. It makes perfect sense.
Now here's where things get fishy, I know the common theory about nanomachines being both haki and devil fruits, so I think that maybe, just maybe, Yassop's dad is none other than Vegapunk himself. Why? How else would Usopp become such a great inventor? Plus, it means Usopp's latent haki (do NOT pretend he doesn't have haki, all the signs are there), so I think VEgapunk invented the devil fruits (he's really old), because he knows everything about the nanomachines.

Fanfiction: The misunderstanding was Fisher Tiger didn't get a blood transfusion from humans because all the available humans had a deadly disease and so didn't want to pass it on to Fisher Tiger. Other Fishman priates didn't know about the disease and so hated the humans for not giving blood to Fisher tiger.

Would be much better if Yasopp just became one on his own IMO, so great that his reputation grew even to where Shanks heard of him even from his measly little island in East Blue (<– consider that my theory for this topic). Would certainly hype him a lot more.
Same reason I don't like all these theories about Kaidou being Bronze/the former 2nd division commander/whatever. We need some guys that are just super-cool completely on their own without somehow being related to Whitebeard or Roger.

There's definitely more to Drake/Kaidou than Drake wanting to fight him. Personally I think he wanted his attention to get into his crew for some reason, it'll probably be elaborated upon in the Kaidou arc (or whatever equivalent).

Moria probably did fought equally with Kaidou until some point, when Kaidou finally butchered his whole crew and left him chin-less and with broken dreams. Drake, on the other hand, is still in the New World kicking ass together with Kidd and Hawkins - something which he probably couldn't have done after getting his ass handed to him by someone like Kaidou. Unless, of course, he's allied with him. This outcome is pretty clear, what we should speculate is the why and how did he manage to ally himself with Kaidou. I mean, he probably had something to offer.

Sorry, but I can't help but think that Oda left out what Robin did to them back there only just to leave us believing that she delt with them using the same old method (like clutching, slaping, twisting, etc) when in truth, she may have actually done something different to them.

He wanted heightened street cred so anybody in trouble would allow Law to operate on them despite his reputation for cruelty; after all, if he was skilled enough to make the dread D. pirate good as new, he might be able to cure the incurable. However, Law didn't anticipate Luffy dropping off the map for two years, and so his plan failed.

- Luffy engages an Admiral in a fight after having found One Piece.
- Luffy defeats the Admiral. The Admiral reports his defeat and that Luffy has found One Piece.
- The WG recognizes Luffy as the Pirate King and issues the news to the world.
- The world learns that Luffy has become the Pirate King.
- Shanks worried and not having met Luffy yet at this point, does his best to find and intercept the person most likely to want to take Luffy's head. That person being Blackbeard.
- Blackbeard and Shanks fight. Shanks is defeated. Blackbeard contacts Luffy somehow and lures him because he has Shanks.
- Luffy and Blackbeard fight. Luffy wins, barely. Shanks either dies or lives on.
- Marines find and arrest the Blackbeard pirates.
- Luffy decides to find his father, and wage war against the WG based on the knowledge of what happened during the Void Century.
- War on the WG. WG crumbles. Only the honest people in the Marines keep up the organization solely to protect the world from pirates and other dangers.
- Luffy continues to sail the seas, or he dies. (I'd prefer it if he died.) The End.

hmm i got a theory for VDD, what if the reason for his four legs is a mutation kind of like an parasitic twin or something like that that was fused with his lower abdomen, it would be creepy yes, but would kind of fit for him xD So he would be a double outcast, he cant swim, neither breath under water like other fishmen do(i think so, because he need this coating bubble on his head as he was in Hodis headquarters.) and also has a genetic malformation….I know that he is a bullhead shark but i cant imagine how this fits with four legs xDD just my two weird cents

I am well aware of that there are a lot of ways for it to happen and many stories and movies and scuh it happens in… I just think it's a bad ending for One Piece... One Piece isn't about the drama where I see it... One Pece does have it of course but for Luffy to die at the end I would find very bad... and I appologies for being a little on edge in my post... family problems... I agree. And I dont think that he is going to join Kaido. It seems to me like kaido is a bad guy, and I think Drake is going to end up being a good guy. Also, does anyone else think it is fairly likely that Drake has Haki? His DF is okay by itself but I think he needs more.. Also he was a 'rear admiral' which is most likely higher than vice admiral

Smoker was a captain, but got promoted to commodore. He's probably even higher now after the timeskip, especially since he's working in the New World now and is probably much stronger
He preobably will remain a vice admiral like Garp. He is not the type to take orders, he only goes where he wants to go.
The queen of fishman island was killed by humans so it's not just the fact that they did not give fisher tiger blood and that humans enslave fishman/mermaids that they are hated also most people who head to the new world go to fishman island so alot of human cause troble there.
