@Cosmic: Really? Well that lightens the mood a little at least….
Sigh.
Just quiet down already.

Me, or the quakes? Sorry if I'm annoying anyone with my posts, just trying to keep others easily updated.
He's talking 'bout the quakes and I have to agree.
How is the situation in Tokyo currently? I heard there was some damage.
Yahoo reports now of a 6.6 in central Japan…
:( :(
Tweets of small aftershocks (or large as the latest 6.6) pop up here and there quite often.
The latest I read was from @shibuya246 who says "Nagano / Niigata again. A very busy night" and "Now back on the east coast for a smaller quake. Feels like Japan is being tilted in someones palm".
@Sonic:
Just watch The Cove, that's all I have to say…
But that aside, this is pretty much a terrible tragedy.
That aside, this you are a fucking piece of stupid shit.
@JERK:

Zeph, you don't mess with the man who drew the Finance Market King strip.
Everyone survived except the mangakas. There will be no more manga or anime for the existence of forever.
Except Naruto. Kishi survived and obtained immortality.
But seriously people, shut up about checking if the individual survived. Hundreds are dying right now. If someone well known died, you'll hear about it soon enough. Otherwise, pray for the souls trapped in that chaos.
Better yet, donate.
Gotta love our Orange County surfers, disasters all over the pacific and they're just MAD because they won't let them SURF, those bastards. Better safe than sorry, buddy.
Oh my god. Seriously!? "It's not like an entire country is under chaos cause of some stupid earthquake." Asshats.
I can't imagine what would have happened if this disaster hit some weaker country ( in terms of money and skill ).
This is why I'm really worried about the Philippines more then anything. They're close enough to get it badly, and unlike Japan, Taiwan, and the US they are a beleagured developing country.
The crappier parts of Indonesia (the far east) might get hit too, and Papua New Guinea.
And ODA SANS OFFICE!!!!
sigh …this is terrible ..I hope Japan will be alright after this massive mess.
and I think the "2012 end of the world" theory is just bullshit!
7.5 hits Eastern Japan!
I'm really worried about my family. They're in miyagi-ken, most in sendai I think. I only just now woke up so this is all really surprising
The city of Kesenuma is still burning. I feel so bad for everyone in Japan who is involved. And all those who can't reach their friends and relatives. Being anxious, knowing nothing… that is also horrible.

I realy dunno what to say, honestly. This is just making me sick.
In Indonesia the tsunami warning has been lifted, seems like it's calming down finally.
All fine and good but what about the 7.5 hitting Japan's coast ?

All I know about Sendai is that the airport there flooded. Man I'm hoping your relatives are unharmed. Be strong.
@Thousand:
Are these after-shocks ever gonna stop?
We can only hope they stop as soon as possible.
But apparently a few of these aren't related to the original quake.
You know the news always has to find that turd to interview and make everyone else look bad.
It's too early to say whether anything will happen along the CA coast, I'm guessing nothing major will happen, but it has been stressed that it's entirely unpredictable and the first waves to hit might not be the strongest, so I wouldn't tempt fate with mother nature.
It's really creepy… Wednesday, we wrote a test in English class. One of the tasks was about an earthquake that hit Japan (I think in 1964 but I'm probably wrong). I remember thinking "Great, a task about a natural disaster, that's nice..."
And now this... I'm sure it's just a coincidence but still...
I hope everything will get better soon.

From what I understood, the situation in Tokyo isn't too tragic when compared to other regions like Sendai.
They're really powerful for aftershocks…

I really hope they're safe and alright Holy!

Man, I'm sorry. Hope they're alright. :ninja:

That's very good to hear.
I'm a bit worried about Russia too. The Russians and various Inuit-like peoples who actually live out that far are usually really poor. Like the ones on the Kurils.

Now that I think about it, they're more spread around the prefecture, more are in sendai, but still. I dunno. There isn't really anything I can do so I'm just kind of sitting around and waiting.
Heart goes out to everyone who has been affected by this
This is indeed horrible. Prayers to all involved. Hope no one dies.

Well about 300 people too late for that

I don't know what I would've done in this situation… I would have probably panicked and cried. I could almost feel the tremor myself... I watched the whole video. Do we know if they're alright now?
And about the comments: bunch of idiots, I hope you will dream about earthquakes...
Then let's hope no one ELSE dies.
I can't believe I just heard about this. The footage was unbelieveable. I'm getting the shakes.
Thankfully, Japan has long been used to this. Hopefully the Philippines and other less-prepared countries aren't taking it too badly.
I worry for my relatives back in Taiwan. But, it shouldn't be too bad there either. Ah, I hate my ignorance sometimes.
Best wishes to all victims.
Seems like the phones are down. I couldn't call anyone in my family.
Sounds like phones are restricted to emergency calls only, or something, I dunno.
I saw people on Twitter making 'Godzilla' jokes. It was just disgusting. Seeing the havoc this has caused, the ongoing pain, the faces of survivors surrounded by ruins, and some dumbasses are spreading Godzilla jokes?
Oh Holy, I hope they are all okay honey. :<

There's supposed to be something like a people search/help page of Google that was posted early today. It was for people who had relatives there. I will try to find it for you, maybe it can help.
There are some reports on trains. Last I heard, around 3 trains were missing but that was many hours ago.
There are 5 trains that JR East never heard back from employees. All trains on East coastline. might have been taken by tsunami.

I wish you all the best dude. It's unimaginable the panic and anxiety you must be feeling right now.

Here's the English version if it's any help. Not sure whether it only includes permanent residents of Japan.
After all this earthquake activity, the Coast of Japan has permanently moved 8 feet.

I even saw some "Goku" jokes… Well can't help it. The world's full of imbeciles.
Yes, those links are supposed to be the site, thanks guys.
I know it's a small thing, but maybe it could be worth knowing about and can help in some way…
My prayers are with you Holy.
Some idiots "reported" Oda missing on there, while someone posted under that name.
You'd think people would lay off doing crap like that.
Wow, it's time to start praying ladies and gentlemen. In the name of Jesus let this be the end of it.

There was a Gura Gura joke in this forum…
The Japanese ambassador for Britian says:
There are nearly 20,000 British nationals in Japan, but I have not heard of any casualties among UK nationals.
