That would have been INSANE if it had been a tournament win from there. I honestly was hoping after that point for PR Balrog to win it! I was literally on the edge of my seat cheering!

But, Viscant still earned his win.

Yeah people can cry about Dark Phoenix all they want… but at the end of the day, it was his Wesker and Haggar that did the heavy lifting. They were the true corner stone of his team.

Well I'm glad I missed out on buying MvC3, I'll happily be waiting for the arrival of Ultimate. Hopefully it'll be just as fun as SSFIV, and hearing from what you guys say, that shouldn't be a problem (if all the problems are fixed, anyways).

I was so happy when my scrub friend started playing as haggar. It was hilarious, he even went into training mode and learned how to Air combo… just because of Haggar.

He used to just spam Hadokens with Ryu, Deadpool, and Akuma... then out of nowhere. Haggar changed his life and he went from being Free to being "OH MY GOD GET AWAY FROM ME."

The laser is a confirmed move for Viper.

As for the DLC. If you've bought it, whether from the CE or off PSN/XBL, they're available on both versions. If not, you have to buy them. They're not automatically included among the UMvC3 roster.
At least that's how it stands. Sven or Seth have stated they're unsure if they should be included or not, so Capcom might change their minds.

I REALLY hate that HUD though, and I could barely tell who was alive and who wasn't.

That's just my logic though…. I'm pretty sure I play "safer" than most people.

Not really they will play as point like they did in mvc2. Also he doesn't do chip damage with his ouroboro super.

Give a good beam assit and a pop up assist and he will be gdlk.

But Ghost Rider's OTG bike super and Firebrands aerial grab that DRAGGED someone from all the way up there to the ground corner is QUITE a cornering bastard.

I just don't know much about Strider (in MvC anyway), I never used him. My brother would kill me so fast with him that I never learned what chips and what doesn't.

His Strider and Wolvie would clean my clock. Then he started using my characters… and beating me with them.... Then I stopped playing. Good times.

I'm quite sure after UMvC 3 I'm going to be reliving those glory days of my youth.

Strange is looking real good. Good offense and defense. Counter Super and a Super that tracks the character and a special that can be set up.

Nemesis…..wow. I've mentioned many times that I fucking adore Resident Evil (hell, going to play it in a little bit), but fuck, is he boring! I'll say it again: They should have picked Alexia. At least she'd be fast and mix up with some fire attacks, Nemesis is just a hulk mound of boredom.

But even Alexia wouldn't convince me to get Ultimate.

DLC cant wait for them to announce them at NYCC. Not confirm on that but it's a guess since they cut 8 more characters so they can have it out in november.

So we might have Gene and X since they were the ones that almost made it through.

I know he's supposed to be a tank. At least Hulk and Sentinel look and move with far more interest. I don't know. Maybe seeing a giant with a huge trench coat and a huge rocket launcher bores me to tears. Nemesis was cool in RE3 because nobody was like him and he would tear your shit up if you weren't ready for him. I mean, you'd be walking in a room, expecting nothing, and suddenly a bunch of rockets come flying your way. THAT was cool.

Now? Compared to everyone else in this game? He's just dull.

Nemesis looks viable but not particularly interesting. Like if I planned to hit up a local tournament he could make my team but just hanging around picking characters I wouldn't bother.

• Marvel was extremely strict about Dr. Strange's moveset and phrases.

• There will be a UMvC3 strategy guide similar to the one released for MvC3.

• The matchmaking system and netcode are receiving a good overhaul.

• All characters will be unlocked when you start the game.

• Due to the feedback at EVO, a "Perfect" screen will now be inserted in UMvC3.

• Due to notification, the new character themes for the UMvC3 will be uploaded on the main webpage in the near future.

• There is a new trailer coming in the next month or so that will reveal a lot more about the game.

• The in-game HUD has been finalized.

I'm still set on not getting this. I will say, however, if the remaining 'secret mode' is something good, I might consider it. But knowing Capcom's current track record…that's doubtful. If the DLC characters are real good, I might consider it, but I'm just going to hold out on this.

Mega Man won't convince to get it.

Psylocke, Ms. Marvel, Spider Woman, Gene or Edward Falcon are confirmed DLC, then I may have to get it a little later. Preferably a used copy.

Aside from being a martial artist? None of the above.
Iron Fist is more like the idea behind MODOK and his stockpiled LoU but applied to a melee fighter. Since I first saw his gameplay I always likened him to MODOK+Jam Kuradoberi from Guilty Gear.

I'm certain comic book fans will recognize a lot of his moves since they're very distinctive.

Wright's the most comical character in the game. He's a keepaway character where his animations are him stumbling or fumbling around.

And since you asked, his level 3 is a counter hyper much like Deadpool's. If you touch him while he strikes his signature pose, the canned objection animation plays and you take damage and lose a bar of meter.

His attacks are stronger than you'd expect, though.
