Yes this was approved. Now awhile back I had a topic about musicals. Over 90% of the people who posted loved this musical. Now most of you have at least seen the 1973 movie. But there was a revival one. If you dont know which is which here is a brief description of each-
1973- The first one. This was shot on sight in Jerusalem. For the movie, it had a special song called Then We are Decided. Herods scene was on a boat and was very…wrong. For some reason there were guns and the roman had nazi helmets.
2000- The revival. In this version everything ismodern. Judas is wearing a leather jacket...even more guns. The romans were stormtroopers. Herods scene was a broadway type show. Pilate was dressed as a member of the gestapo.
Please share your opinion.

i haven't seen the 70's version, and the only reason i have the newer one is that rik mayall is in it, playing herod.
so i really can't help you with this, and i seem to be posting only to praise the glory that is rik.

Yeah. HE was the only Herod I have ever seen that was sorta scary. Though his singing wasnt that good, he is still awsome.
