ohmy god. The shark has the princess in his mouth. that shit is hilarious. Zoro just seemed like he did this before. taking hostages. I know the straw hat are technically bad guys but i don't know what'll happen after this whole incident. Oh don't worry about takking us captive we all just got cauught up in the moument.Also glad to see chopper has a new form KUNG FU point. but why does he look like that new fire pig pokemon lst evolution

Kung Fu point.. awkward. I think there's less of a chance that the Ministers are bad guys now, but still possible, I suppose.. Neptune seems to know that the SH aren't bad guys, even after they beat him up.
to me seems like Sanji vs Caribou, Usopp vs VDD.. hard to say bout the others.

Maybe Jinbe doesn't want Luffy to fight Hodi because he knows they are both too powerful and will destroy the island?? who knows. It's gonna be soooooooooo long until next week T_T

If Luffy and his crew defeat the bad guys I can see them forgiving Luffy for doing all the stuff they did. However if the Princess goes with them I can see them as giving giving a wanted poster but not really giving a chase cuz she wanted to.

Luffy and Jinbe meeting at the forest of sea seems to come closer and closer, but first it will sure be shown the attack on the palace.

Because then i dont get why the 3 princes couldnt just go to the castle trough that bubble layer.
It should be important for them to access it quickly, but they say it`s not possible.

When it has to do something with speed so that you get trough the layers damn quickly it it should also be possible for mermaids which are the fastest creatures down there.

it is because the pirates were thrown in by decken. its the same physics as the Sunny rocketing in and not falling through air space.

the princes cant because their ride cant just rocket through. it would take off its bubble, which wud make it so that it cant move in air, hence drop right back dwon

edit: also its not the same because just because they're fast, doesn't mean they're faster than a super strong throw or a rocket.

if the bubble layer is like the main bubble of the island (sea-bubble-air-bubble-sea),maybe with more layers,they can't pass through it because they can't fly..but projectiles (human projectiles in this case) can,because they do.

uh… kinda dissapointed Zoro's slight raise. I was expecting more but oh well. This chapter just cracks me up. Zoro and Ussop bithchin at each other and Nami's innocent face. Wonder how sanji would react when he sees it and i wonder it Robin got that innocent face too.

Hm, i wonder where Nami's Perfect Clima Tact. She looked like she was only holding a stick. Or was it another upgrade of her weapon? But i like Perfect Clima Tact the best.

i've only seen the cover page, but if its possible ace paid a visit to fuusha village on his hunt for blackbeard, and that baby is who i think it is, then my faith in one piece has once more been miraculously confirmed. well played oda, well played.

Yup, your explanations sound good.
I forgot about the layers being seperated from each other which makes you fall into an air-filled bubble.(thought they would be much closer, but after watching again at the bubbles at the main entrance you see that this gap is big enough to fall trough and so it is sure also the case at the palace.

That baby looks like a new born and plus it has been two years since Ace's death, you're telling me that Ace went beyond the grave and did the deed with Makino LOL by the way Makino was shown after Ace's death with no baby bumps.

Nahh thats fine..its just that its rly unlikely that this is Aces son.
I mean that is still a baby and so not older than 2 years, which is just the amount of time Ace is already dead.
Considering that he was lookinf for BB the year before that and so was most likely not in that area of Fuusha Village(which we can prove in such short appearances like Ace on Buggys ship or his whole coverstory.)
Even when this baby is older we also can be sure Ace wasnt at the village or else Luffy would have seen him there because 3-4 years ago he didnt even start his adventure and so was still training there…but he said to his crew that he hasn`t seen Ace since he set sail...3 yrs before him.

I stll think its Shanks… I've always suspected something between the two ;)... that baby and Luffy's kid will become "brothers" in the future after both their fathers die. And soon after will rule the next era!
Edit: I'm also relieved that Makino is alive... One Piece doesnt have a good track record with mothers...

think about it
1)why should ace search for blackbeard outside the grand line?

2)you can't exactly exit or travel from/through the grand line like it's a joke.The calm belt it's pretty much an incredible obstacle,even for ace,and re-enter and re-find the path you were following it's not easy task either.travel needs time,at least months proceding from island to island.

3)the baby doesn't even resemble ace, he/she has blonde/bright hair..neither ace or makino has that color,neither a close one.

4)ace was 19.makino was in her twenties when ace was a child,when ace died she was at least 30 years old..they do not seem like a good match.

that baby it's not even close to be almost 2 years old.

Its probably just a placeholder raise. Luffy's was taken up to 400 without any ceremony, and Franky's bounty has been suspiciously hidden too, he's probably also got a raise.

Its so when they get huge jumps after this arc is over, the increases don't seem ridiculous.

The baby has light hair, and seems newborn. Jokes aside, it's not Ace's.

You know, with Luffy indirectly planing on meeting up with Jinbe at this Forest Sea, I wouldn't be surprised if it was Jinbe that took on Hodi while Luffy took on VDD.

Great chapter though. Loved it!

No arguments there. Bought Luffy and VDD will have their DF's weakened because of being under water. Whil Jimbei (ex-awesomeness) wil fight Hodi ( new awesomeness) And both have their underwater advantage and are fishmen so it'll be somewhat fair. I still wouldnt feel comfy if a giant like shira became the next nakama but that san juan wolf bothers me :S

Edit: Oda is giving us a hint that shira isnt gonnna be nakama because of luffy's reactions to her behavior. Remember the Hancock!

Well, about the baby, I'd guess Shanks is the prime suspect for father, not only because he was there, but because it's not clearly stated WHY he docked at Fuusha out of so many backwater villages, a local romance seems like a decent reason for Shanks' constant visits to the area.
Oda was smart enough to make a 2 year time skip….it's enough time for Shanks to leave the Grand Line after a terrible war and "pay a visit" to Makino, let's not forget she wasn't indicating pregnancy when the series started. Though, going back on my last remark, that's not much of an argument, we're talking of a series that a mom can hide pregnancy for extremely long periods of time :P

sorry to be this way, i'm not really a stubborn guy, but i'm not gonna let this go till i'm totally convinced. that panel where oda showed makino smitten with ace seems suddenly both wasted and weird, especially if some insignificant randomer married her practically right after ace's death and especially cause he's not pictured nearby (unless it is woodslap lol). i dunno if the baby is neccessarily a new born, and provided ace got down and dirty (sorry) fairly shortly before his move to the grandline where he met luffy, how pregnant would makino look at the time of his death even in the real world, where women can't put off the birth of their child by over a year simply by force of will?
And if this is what happened ROGERS LINE IS STILL ALIVE!
