Finallyyyy
But i got a question
For past anime and movies soundtracks i always bought them on the japanese itunes store, which is a bit of a hassle because the credit card you want to use must be attached to someone living in japan only
I first had to go here https://www.japan-codes.com/ and get codes for itunes credit
Anybody knows if a better method came out these years? A website where bam you go there pay, download and that's it no matter where you live? Im in Italy
Thanks in advance

Hi guys
In Japan it's already march 16 so the soundtrack is out on the japanese itunes store
Sadly japan-codes.com has the gift cards all sold out
Luckily i was able to get them on a website called Eneba, so yeah, i just bought the soundtrack
Im going to upload it somewhere, either mega or google drive, then i will post the link here asap

Thanks a lot, Franky.
I'm extremely surprised and happy to hear a couple of serious "Usopp themes", I assume they were from Stampede or something and only a short one made it into the movie (and its soundtrack CD).
Edit: NVM, I forgot they're from Episode of East Blue.

No problem
Im happy we have the original Katakuri's theme at last
But, track 1-15..? Anyone remember where it played? Is that one of the Usopp themes you were talking about?
Also track 2-27 is that version of we are that played when Sanji told Luffy he wanted to go back to sunny, finally

No, I'm talking about tracks 6 and 7 from the second disc. You can hear Usopp's jingle in both tracks. Similar to this:
Really solid release, track 16 from Disc 2 is another favorite I've wanted to have.

Thank you very much for that upload Franky! I don't have time to listen to the whole thing straight through tonight but what I've skimmed through has indeed been worth the 3+ year wait!
Point of note about the OST so far: the track titled "Eustass Kid's Theme" isn't original, it's actually "The Worst Generation ~The Rookies Appear~ from Stampede:
-
I'm surprised they included a still unused Luffy vs. Kaido song.
! Plus, a song I'm assuming they will use for the most recent manga twist.

I can't read japanese, to navigate the japanese itunes store i used that translator app for android that translates using the camera lol
I did not know that track is called Eustass Kid, strange they went with that, i remembered that from stampede yeah, and after that they used it on oden flashback when there were roger's crew vs whitebeard one and Kid was surely NOT there :ninja:
Maybe it had some scenes in the raid or they
! are gonna use it on roof piece

They've used that song for incidental Kid scenes two or three times in Onigashima and this isn't the first time the anime has repurposed an existing theme for a particular character (Franky's main leitmotif comes from "A Serious Game" which is an Alabasta-era track for example) but usually they don't outright rename an old one and pass it off as new. With the exception of Movie 8's OST's CD which infamously only has like ten original tracks with everything else being pulled from the existing music library.
! When the first disc's track list was announced a month or so ago the fact that there were two tracks called "Luffy ~Awakening~" and "Awakened Luffy's Actions" made me raise my brow a bit. Obviously it brings to mind recent manga events, but I think there's a chance it could be meant for when Luffy achieves greater control of Conqueror's Haki earlier in the fight. Then again, both tracks have a notable percussion element to them and Oda does give Toei some inside scoops…
I admit that I'm a little disappointed that Queen's songs aren't on there or instrumental versions of the other Whole Cake Island musical numbers (though I guess "Go~! My Servant Big Mom~!!" essentially is one of "Bad End Musical") but I can't get greedy; this was a very fun release, I loved how even though he's using traditional Japanese instrumentation Kohei Tanaka still managed to work his big band/swing style into some of the Wano tracks and the rest of the Whole Cake Island stuff was well worth the lengthy wait. I can't wait to hear what he and his arrangers are cooking up for Red.

Would you happen to know who runs http://onepiecetracklist.com? It hasn't been updated in a while. It would be interesting to know what songs what other songs are yet to be released.
Tracks I felt were reminiscent of eachother:
(2-01) Onigashima Dance Floor Music (at 0:46):
Stevie Wonder - Sir Duke:(2-13) Welcome VIP (at 3:50):
Disney Theme - When you wish upon a star: -
I just hope that Red's OST is used in the series later. Does anyone knows if Red's OST will be owned by AVEX?

Disney Theme - When you wish upon a star:Back in 2016 when i bought and uploaded here the one piece new world soundtrack i received this private message:
Hi, I'm from the One Pace team, the guy responsible for the OST. Thanks a bunch, mate, that music is much needed to help the team do the Dressrosa edits, as well as filling the onepiecetracklist site
in the process
P.S: This is the first time I ever got the contents of a CD release in Japan on the same day it was launched
This private message was from the user called Halee, based on what he wrote i guess he is in charge of onepiecetracklist? If not him someone else from the One Pace team?
However Halee last activity says he was last here on october 2019  ( hope he is fine )
i would ask to someone from one pace anyway regarding the website

By the way, there might be more, but one track that was never released is the disco like theme used in episode 438 when Emporio was first introduced
Correct me if im wrong but it's still unreleased to this day i think :ninja:

Hi, yes, I'm the guy in charge of that site, and a terrible one, considering how often it goes without updates for the latest episodes. I'll try partially fix the mistakes by beginning to bring it up to date tomorrow (March 23rd). I don't usually visit this site, I just like to stand quietly on the sidelines helping with some groundwork.
Again, regardless of whether I didn't have to undertake this huge thing, and it's technically voluntary, this just looks sloppy, particularly with the One Pace team, which relies a lot on knowing which tracks are playing on a given episode (if they don't have the data, it's more extra brainpower they shouldn't have to lose, even if they usually know which track they need). So yeah, I'm fine, but sorry, guys.

Hey! Glad you're doing good and don't worry!
Like you said it's not like it is your job and i find that what you did up to this point has been amazing, really nice to have everything at hand and especially bein able to listen directly there
Regardless if it's up to date or not, life gets always in the way after all, so take your time

got skybrook in the post today and my two year quest has come to an end (I think?):
Games on the left, movies in the middle, other in series bgm/songs/eyecatches on the right, and other stuff I picked up along the way at the bottom.
Don't have the Saobondy log CD as I managed to find music material cheap, which has that stuff.
Was pretty happy at how cheap I managed to get everything at YJA/Mercari/Suruga etc. Only Wanokuni was obviously full price, almost everything else was peanuts. To the point that a lot of the stuff at the bottom wasn't things I wanted, but came bundled with other things (mostly from mercari), so for instance I'd get a film soundtrack I wanted and then the A to Z single as well, and the mercari bundle would be cheaper then getting the film cd on its own.Memorial BEST not pictured, bought it way before I started looking for others and can't find it
The MUUUSIC cd is covers of OP/EDs, most of them are just ok, but there's one that really slaps, the TTJ cover of OVER THE TOP:
Prefer it to the official tbh.

I think that One Piece has great music, especially for the intros. Sometimes the music can get quite stale at times. Purely because of the fact that it's been over 1000 episodes at this point and we're still using the exact same songs since the show's creation. Of course, there are some timeless classics in the One Piece Music Library. For example, Overtaken one of the main battle themes for the show will never get old to me. Because to me, this is a timeless classic, ever since Arlong Park back in 2005 I've found this song to be amazing. So overall I think that One Piece has an amazing soundtrack, although a little repetitive. And I hope that the anime team continues to make great tracks.
