Because if you haven't realized, there are tens, maybe hundrets of thousends of Libyans who love that idiot and honstly belive that shit we've been laughing about. We should not worry about what happens with Gaddafi but what happens after Gaddafi. He is as good as dead since that is the result of every of our serach and destroy missions lately. People like Kuma was one, only they were not so fortunate and didn't live in the UK and don't live in the rebel centre Benghazi where there were plenty of people to enlighten them. They still shout this “read the green book and you will find out the truth” stuff and they will now be given weapons to defend Gaddafi. While we were busy with the podcast event for Japan, all hell was breaking lose in Libya, eh?
I know we all expected him to be overrun with rebels preparing a noose to go around his neck, but its still possible that he might remain in power, or escape any prosecution. After all the countries involved will most likely finish operations in the next week according to reports.
After that it'll have to either go to negotiations between gadaffi and the rebels, or the war will continue which could either be swift or drag on for years furthering the death and destruction on the Libyan people.
Hopefully this will end soon and on a promising note.
