I didn't know what section this goes into, and if anybody can tell me where this goes, this is basically an idea for a manga series I've toyed with for a while now…
[hide]It's about a group of four entity hunters (I have yet to decide whether they hunt demons or whatever, but I'm leaning towards demons) each one having a different reason to do so. It's a typical shounen manga series, however the main character isn't the guy that after about 1-2 volumes of training gains the power to destroy the universe, but rather the one that no matter how hard they train, no matter how much they learn, no matter how much they try, they will never gain any more power…
The manga will follow this character as they struggle to defeat stronger and stronger enemies, all the while never getting any stronger, whilst their allies keep becoming more powerful in their own rights...
The reason this character can't get stronger is because of vengeance, a deal with an entity, and cruel joke...
The main character's support cast are one type of entity that possesses corpses and wields the metals in blood as a weapon, this character looks much like zombie Ryuuma, not fully decomposed but still hasn't got a face.
A different type of entity named Teeth, because they never stop smiling, and Teeth rides a single wheel motorbike that transforms into an arm cannon.
Finally joining the main character is the typical shounen hero, who was born from two men, an Italian and a Scottish, and was conceived by an entity. His powers are that he gains immense strength and fighting abilities depending on whether he grows a true Italian mustache (fencing style with Franky level strength), or a true Scottish beard (claymore style with Zoro level strength). He wields a type of sword that morphs when he grows his different power hair...[/hide]
Alot of the stories that I've already thought up for this little band are based around some themes from a few of Shakespeare's plays, some of the more classic novels, some songs, and at least two cult classics that a few friends of mine showed to me a few years back.
If anyone has anything to say about my idea critic is appreciated…
