It sometimes good to look at these old theories and laugh a bit. I remember when I held to the belief that Ace was Luffy's biological brother until the big reveal came that his real father was Gold Roger.

I think that Dofla thing had a lot to do with the misconception that Shichibukai need to leave their crews which was pretty widespread for a while.
There was nothing really pointing otherwise as far as Luffy and Ace were concerned. Apart from the family name, but Oda led us astray even in Impel Down when Ace talked to Garp how he took his mother's name, referring to Roger as his useless father while everyone (me, anyway) thought he was talking about Dragon.
Felt like a sucker when it was revealed. A sucker for expecting Dragon would come to Marineford, lol.

You were in good company. The guesses were about split between the two. I remember some people saying "well Luffy met Pauley first, Usopp met Franky first, so its likely gonna be Pauley. Since Luffy meets the new members first!"

I have many wrong theories that by chapter 490 I decided to just sit back and watch how Oda is going to write his story and swore never to make anymore theories. While it's fun for most of you guys by for people like me it's a waste of time to do that since the writer is mostly unpredictable. However i'm right in most things knowing how his brain works. Here's my wrong theories:
- Dragon, a fate diviner
- Kuma is religious and lives in some gothic cathedral.
- After Fishman Island, the Red Line is still far off
- Jinbei to be the third Shichibukais beaten up
- Florian Triangle to be nothing but a cluster of ruined ships full of ghost and stuff
- Brook to be a part of a new race
- New Age to be a cult organisation
- Each Shichibukai to be beaten up before reaching the Red Line
- The Straw Hat pirates to face different dragon species on Wano Country
However by 490 I decided to finally understand how Oda's brain works. I was kinda expecting a Gordon thing in Amazon Lily to be real but figured Oda was going to pull that.

Even worse is the speculation of 'what it will be'. I saw one pic of Luffy looking like he's creating spikes everywhere … in other words - imitating Miss Doublefinger of Baroque Works.
They really should have given up when Oda did give a power up and it was not a gear, it was haki.this is the first post I saw when opening up this thread, so, sorry Kat but ahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Yeah I understand.
A good theory is that since gear 2nd involved blood and gear 3rd bones, then gear 4 could involve muscle. Many are hoping that its like vulcanization.
I'll be happy if his muscles became like 'hard rubber', imagine instead of the bouncy, streachy rubber, the muscles are the dense hard rubber like a rubber mallet. -

Why I don't buy it as 'evidence' … Some think it the same as Doffy's smile, it isn't. Its upside down and doesn't bear that diagonal cross out.

I think it's about time we find out more about that part. Doesn't seem Dofla had much to do with pharmaceuticals. And if he was producing medicine, it would have at least been mentioned during these last 2 arcs, just to tie that loose end with Whitebeard's medicine.

Yeah. This crossed my mind too. I think it'll be revealed sooner or later. I think there's possibly an underground medical expert of some sort - Jack, maybe? Since he seems to be related to Caesar.. Idk. Anyway it's pretty similar to Doflamingo's theme though, that in terms of Buddhism, converted Yaksha are known to guard the Medicine Buddha.. or something like that.

2)Even if there isn't, zoan types can have variants within the same family but just a different version of the animal.Plus Punk Hazard was full of fake dragons. I'm sure we'll see another one or two yet, probably on Wano.
Possibly Kaido's fruit. Or you know, Dragon. But that might be a bit obvious.

- Yeah I was attempting to be vague by not pointing out the model, because I'm not sure what it would be called… Maybe Model: Drake or Model: Wyrm, assuming that multiple dragon fruits will emerge and also not counting Momo's artificial.
Definitely hoping to see some more dragons though and yeah I am faithful that either Momo will develop into an awesome dragon or an awesome dragon will emerge at one point in the manga.
I hope it isn't Dragon... Kaido's fruit will definitely be related to some type of beast that is seen as a ruler among animals such as a dragon, lion, etc. Although he could very well be some as of yet unexplained phenomenon in OP, such as a huge ass Yeti with a non-zoan fruit haha

I mean I was originally told this around when Sabo originally appeared in the manga in the Dawn Island flashback. I also knew by the time he used that attack that he obviously couldn't have a df since he was after mero mero haha

I remembered believing Dwarves would have been from Elbaf, and have been slightly shorter then normal humans (Mostly due to Dwarves originating from Norse myths). I also thought Cavendish was going to be an antagonist when first introduced and would have had his face slightly disfigured by Luffy.
