I heard that Crysis was a tech demo anyway and not really a game. Also that besides the graphics it sucks. That being said, I've never played it. I would be interested in seeing how it runs on my computer but I'm not going to shell out $60 just for that.

Whoever you heard that from is a dummy. The game is actually quite awesome.
Also there's a demo on steam if you're that curious about how it'll run.Crysis 2 looks neat but rather different from the first game. Not sure which platform to go with yet though.

Starting your sentence with "I heard" throws away all the credibility of all the bullshit that you just said. This game will give you the freedom to choose your way through the game. This is a very fun game to play. The bad thing is that the first Crysis game was too short and the ending sucks ass but over all it's fantastic. Let's set aside the fact that the graphics is a masterpiece. As the trailer says it gives you options. Having options gives you the interest to play the game multiple times.

Like I said, that's what I heard. I've never played the game so I don't have an opinion on it. Though I'm not particularly interested in it. The only time I've ever heard it brought up even is if they're talking about the graphics.

Crysis is a great game that underappreciated because it was PC exclusive and probably have one of the highest system requirements ever, but it is still a very good game with solid gameplay and storyline (if you like FPS you definitely would like this game).
Most of the complain about this game is the fact that most PC couldn't handle this game. When this game first show a up back in 2007 no PC in that time capable to play this game in medium setting, even until now I doubt there is more then 15% PC that could handle this game at respectable setting.The second game Crysis Warhead is somewhat more tame in system requirements but it still to high to capture any mainstream gaming crowd. They intend to fix this in Crysis 2 so they lower the system requirements even more.
