ONLY NOMINATE/VOTE FOR OPEN CATEGORIES

Here are the categories for 2010 AP Awards. A few of the awards that struggled to find nominations last year have been eliminated while a few others have been altered.

The primary changes are:

Most Random Post and Funniest Off-Topic Moment have been merged into Most Memorable Off-Topic Moment.

Greatest Person Ever has been shifted over to being automatically by whoever wins the most awards overall; every person nominated for an award is automatically entered.

The Best Picture- Out Of Context/Best Picture - Goofs categories have been combined into Funniest Image/Series of Images Award. Keep in mind that the humor has to derive from the art/photo itself so images that are funny because of captions or dialogue are out. By series of images, I mean a set where one image works with the previous image. For one example, the recent Franky staring at Caribou sequence. There's dialogue, but the humor comes from Franky and not Caribou's rant.

As always the Mod/Admin Award automatically enters all Global Mods/Admins that were active in the last year. And Windrays.

The entry directly below is the category that is currently open for nominations. Once the category is closed, we will not accept further nominations and nominations for said category will be ignored. One nomination per person per catergory.

Ok seeing how threads from earlier years have been nominated I'd like to toss in this one.

Best thread: HunterXHunter-thread - One of the best threads of the Other manga section, has generated alot of discussion about several topics and generally assembles the good posters of Apforums.

If it can't be accepted, go for this one instead: The World is Getting Better, Believe it or Not - Risking to make Zephos the king of this category, but hell he did make a lot of good threads this year, and I like these very informative threads.

Keep in mind that that idea is to celebrate the last year of the forum. For threads, it's slightly different since a thread started a long time ago could have decayed massively or made a remarkable improvement in the last year.
