Here I have shared my sweet memory. I played Super Mario when I was in the 4th standard. So it was the first video game played by me. I liked to play it for long time. I even forgot to take food. I have no time for video games now. But I would like to play video games when I will have no work. I want to know that which was the first video game played by you ? Share your sweet memory with me.
Which was your first video game ???

The first PC game i played was Lego racers. It was so frickin awsome because you could build you own character and your own car and it was so simple that even my sister could play with me. I even bought a joystick espeacially for the game
My first console game was poy poy 2 which i got with my PSone. Though there was only two or three game modes and it takes like and hour to complete everything i have played it for years and completed it like a thousand times. I still play it now even though i have a ps3 and xbox 360. Those were both great games and so incredibly simple that even me as like a 6 year kid could master it and i had great times with them

Well it actually started around 1958 when the physicist William Higinbotham wanted to create something to cure boredom from people visiting the Brookhaven National Laboratory. What he developed was "Tennis for Two" made with an oscilloscope and other radar equipment. This hallmark–
Oh wait, you mean OUR first video game?
Super Mario Land, on the original Game Boy.
Good times.
-
Prince of Persia on an amstrad 8086.
Still one of the finest games I've ever played. Guess I was pretty lucky to get introduced to gaming that way.
-
I don't know how you guys remember that far back.
Whatever my first game I believe it was on the Atari 2600. I remember that square, black controller with the big red button quite fondly.. and painfully. Back then we also had one the the Atari home computers, too. Can't remember which model. So it was one of those two systems for sure. That's all I know.
-
Metroid.
Memories of my brother playing Metroid are amongst my very earliest. He even let me play a bit, though I'm sure in hindsight I didn't so much play as I did mass buttons and get him killed.
Good memories. :)

For myself, I remember so clearly because I only ever had 3 games for that PC. After POP, I got Street Fighter I, which was an absolutely terrible game, and then Secret of Monkey Island, which was as good as POP.
-
Pokemon Yellow.
yeaaaaaaah booooooi
-
E.T. For the Atari. I can't remember playing it, but I know we had it.
The first one I can really remember playing was probably duck hunt.
-
My first game was probably Sonic the Hedgehog.
-
Super Mario Bros.
I think. That's the first I can remember at least
-
Doom 2. My brother played it most of the time and I watched. I still love that game.
-
I remember playing a lot of my dad's early Apogee and ID software games.
I'd want to say my first game was Doom II (cue Freudian discussion), Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure, or Word Rescue, but I'm not sure.
But in all likelihood, my first game I've ever played was either Commander Keen 5 or 6.
-
Tetris on the Game Boy … you know that gray brick with pink buttons you could kill people with.
-
I remember playing Redneck Rampage on my computer. That and the original Pokémon games. And Tetris on my GameBrick.
-
I remember playing Dizzy Treasure Island and Prince of Persia before anything else.
First owned one was Super Mario Land on the Gameboy.
-
YEAH!!!
-
Day of the Tentacle and Need for Speed (first and original).
-
I'm pretty sure mine was Prince of Persia, back on my Macintosh LC II. Either that or something on my neighbor's NES.
-
Commander Keen 4, I think…
Back when i could still enjoy shitty games, because i didn't knew better. -
Burger Time!!
-
Super Mario World or Super Street Fighter II Turbo on the SNES.
One of 'em…
-
My first games were on my uncle's commodore amiga, I remember a game with a guy who in the beginning of the game changes in a monkey with an american football helmet on. (If someone knows the name of the game. please tell me)
Other than that the first game I really played from start to end was 'Alex kidd' the game that came with my sega master system. Ah the good old days. hahahahaha.

Toki ?
-
Toki ?
Oh yes TOKI, that's it, I've been searching for this, thanks man. I had a hunch you would know, hahah that's why I asked.
And by the way I also played 'prince of persia' on my first pc, it was a cool game.
-
Gran Turismo (PlayStation) I think.
You guys are old.
-
Super mario land 2. Fond memories of that game.
-
Mine was Duck Hunt when I was 5. I remember not being interested in Nintendo before then because I thought it was too complicated for me. And then, my dad showed me how to use the Zapper. Ah, nothing says fatherly bonding like teaching your son how to hold a gun…
-
I think it was megaman X, in some daycare place in the Mall of America. I also remember playing Super Star Wars and Toejam & Earl there, so I'm really not sure which game I tried first.
-
Street Fighter II
Top Gear
Act Raiser. That's as far back as I can remember.
-
Yoshi's Island for the SNES, I remember as a child I was sucked by the crayon look and sick gameplay.
-
My parents told me that the first video game they remember me playing is TMNT arcade game when it first came out (1990).
I actually can't remember a time where I didn't play video games, however.
-
I don't think I can accurately remember my first game, but I remember playing Sonic the Hedgehog on the Gamegear. I can't remember which one it was though. I think 1 or 2.
-
Duck Hunt.
-
The earliest thing I remember is staring in awe at my cousin playing Sonic 1.
I didn't play anything myself untill Tetris on the GB I think. Or Super Mario Land. I remember playing for a day before getting past the first Goomba, only to fall down the first pit.
Its amazing I became a gamer instead of throwing the ugly brick out the window really.
-
Either Kirby Super Star (SNES) or Wario Land II (GB), I don't quite remember which. I have fond memories of both, but Kirby Super Star is much easier than I remembered (it took us a few days to get to our old completion percentage when we downloaded it for Virtual Console) and I haven't played Wario Land II in a long time (probably should get around to it, though - I never did finish it 100%).
-
my first favorite was soulblade. Though the first thing I plaed on my playstation was the demo game pack they gave to you. I also had spyro. I cant remember if I played pokemon before I got a playstation though.
I also payed pokemon on nintendo 64.
Which one of these was out first anybody?
-
Sonic Jam was my first game.
-
Does Atari's Pong count as a game ?
-
Pokemon Silver on the GBC, followed by Pokemon Yellow.
Have incredibly fond memories of playing both, especially because it took me a very long time to convince my overprotective parents to buy them for me. -

Soul Edge. It was released when N64 was only 6 months old.
Stadium came out in 99.

Interesting....
(Pokemon Gold and Silver were the first emulated games that I got really into....seeing as how the only real emulated games were GB/C games).

Vectrex.[/hide]Had 20 or 30 games for that thing. With plastic sheets to add graphics and everything. Still do in storage, actually.
Also had stuff for the INTELLIVISION, none of which I can remember the names of now. I remember never being able to beat Dungeons and Dragons, but that's the only one that springs to mind.
Of course, Super Mario is the first major one that I played on an arcade machine and then wanted the home version and have real genuine memories of.
EDIT: …oh dear lord. I'd forgotten everything about this game. But the sound effects are apparently forever ingrained in my brain. I remember the overworld map clearly, and the SOUNDS.... GODDAMN BATS! ...and snakes. Wow is that ingrained.

First game I ever played?
Super Mario Bros at a friend's house, but it was always too hard for me.
The first video game I ever had a relationship with?
DKC2 and Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.
If I hadn't played those two games, who knows where I would be now?
Between these two phases of my life, I also did a brief stint with Super Street Fighter 2: Turbo and Duck Hunt. -
Something on the ZX Spectrum. Pac Mania and Ghostbusters come to mind
-
Typicially enough, Super Mario Bros.
But that game was loads of fun, even to this day. It was that game that would soon turn me into a big Nintendo and Mario fan.
-
Hmm, when i was a weeee lad I played a Snoopy game for C64
-
Super Mario Bros.
Though the first game I actually beat was Sonic 2.
-
Tbh, im not sure whether it is Sonic(any of them) or Donkey Kong country. It has to be one of those 2. Im completely unaware of which i played 1st.
-

-
My first game was Super Ghouls and Ghosts for the SNES. I could never get past the first level though.
