Seriously, they can´t walk or talk..
@trappedolphin:
i was a substitute teacher at a secondary school once. it made me realise that, as much as i love kids, i shouldn't go anywhere near the teaching profession. i'm hopeless at discipline. so yeah, i have a lot of respect for good teachers who manage to tread that fine line between being just strict enough so that they'll listen without hating you, and being friendly without letting them walk all over you.
i had a few… interesting teachers though. my class was a little rowdy, so when we didn't like a teacher the results weren't pretty. we made a considerable number of teachers cry, locked one out of the classroom, wrote a petition against one, etc.
I recognize that… I had a teatcher that my class got fired. Wit reason though. And I understand about the dicipline, I´ve had some teatchers that has no control at all over the class, and you don´t learn anything.
I had one teatcher who everyone was kind of afraid of, so no one dared to talk, I don´t think that good either
@Airflow:
Dropped chemistry in Year 10 and never looked back. Only subject that was anywhere near as bad was latin.
I'm a history/politics/philosophy man with a sprinkling of maths.
Why would you study latin??
My mom would be really disapointed if I dropped chemistry, wich I can´t do anyways but still.
