I couldn't say exactly how intelligent, but intelligent enough i'd say. I've done well in school over the years, and i pretty much beat my parents on their fingers when it comes to tests and such.

I used to be ahead of all my classes. Gifted and talented, and A+ in most subjects, and then I stopped caring. I will probably start caring later on in High School, but not right now. -

There are some things I enjoy and I am good at. History and cooking come to mind. I am good with computers but throwing on a new OS or dual booting a PC is about as much as I know. I have more knowledge than experience, which proves to be a problem. Algebra is what I usually have problems in though. Those radicals and quadratic equations are really bringing my grade down. By the time I learn and study one thing, algebra introduces another thing. I don't pick up on math immediately, although I used to. I also have a form of bias against algebra. I don't want to learn how to find a square root by writing down a whole page of equations. I can just use a calculator, which every device seems to have. I just can't find a huge reason why I will be finding the hypotenuse of a right triangle any time soon.

I was a fucking genius amongst the mouth-breathers of grade/high school, but at Dartmouth I am constantly made to feel dumb as a rock by every professor, student, venerable piece of architecture, and house pet. And it makes sense, considering that if you go into a group of kids here and choose one at random, there's a one in three chance that he/she was valedictorian of his/her high school.
I hope and suspect that the real world is more like grade/high school, but with a high enough ratio of intelligent people to actually have conversations with.

I'm pretty good at problem solving, but a major limitation is I'm poor at tactical stuff. In math, this means that while I'm excellent with calculus, I often get wrong answers due to poor algebra. In other disciplines, I might overlook a key piece of information, and apply the right process to entirely wrong data.
