Nice to know that I'm stuggling like hell with classes like Geometry knowing that for the most part it'll completley get looked over. I mean I knew that I would never use it in real life…but seems like I'm entire days after reading this thread.
Right now I'm a sophomore in High School and I'm doing pretty bad with Math and Science classes. With Math it's just...well hard. It's one of those things where you either get it, or you don't and you need to try harder to get it. Science...well I live in New York. Here the Regents are mandatory, and they count for one fifth of your average at the end of the year. Now on test I do OK, but we need a certain amount of labs in to take the regents.
Now I wouldn't mind so much, but it seems I always get the short end of the stick. I failed Bio last year because I had super bad broncitis last year, and the school never sent my labs(As I couldn't do them at home) so I was always behind and just couldn't take the Regent and failed, and now in Earth Science...well my Teachers actually a pretty cool guy, but unlike the other teachers he hands the labs BACK if you miss even one vocab word. We do about three labs a week, it's easy to see how you can get behind fast.
Now the school has after school help, and he's cool and said he'll change my old grades to pass me if I come and he helps me make up the work...but because he's the cool teacher all the horny girls at my school are up at his desk, and you literally have to wait ten minutes to ask him one question, that he'll say look up in a book.
Nice to know I'm wasting my time.
