db kai played without errors for me , when one piece started the lag was so bad i had to revert to keyhole which actually plays fine without much lagging..
but seriously , sofar this episode sucks due to editing , no blood on luffy's face , kizaru vs luffy is edited aswel... (i think... dont have the manga chapter atm for comparison)
FIST OF LOVE! Anyway, a pretty mediocre episode compared to the last two. It was fun seeing all those minor characters fighting a bit though.
The first half was shit but when Akainu came, it was freaking awesome.
The second was was great. Decent episode.
The Garp punch on Marco was cool, but that's about all that really happened..average episode from what I can tell from the stream…
Not too much in the preview, but then again, there wasn't too much in that particular chapter. I guess they'll pad it out with Ace's flashbacks.

Looks like Sengoku decided he was being hasty and rolled that sleeve back down.
I guess the first…three-fourths I guess, were okay. Good production values, but nothing really happened. The bits with Ivankov and the lighthearted music was a bit "Wha?" though. When Akainu showed up, that was when things went into high gear. His clash with Whitebeard was really awesome looking, and of course, can't forget Garp introducing Marco to the Fist of Love.
After watching the episode subbed, I have to up my opinion on it from average to pretty good. The beginning was a bit slow and the editing in the Kizaru/Luffy fight was a bit much; however I did like how they did Luffy struggling to keep going and then falling down. After that, the last 7 minutes or so, was amazing; fast paced with lots of fighting (Akainu is such a BADASS) and the music (for the whole episode really) was great.
Overall a good episode, a bit slow at times but the last half of the episode made it worth it…
BTW I really hope we see more of the Sichibukai and the Commanders fighting, Hancock, Moria's, and Mihawk's short little scene was great and I wonder why doesn't Toei pad the episode out with that sort of filler, I will give them credit, they have been using it more..but still not enough for my taste. I'm hoping that for future episodes we see more of that instead of the really out-of-place and ill-timed comedic scenes.
Episode was good up until Whitebeard and Akainu clashed, from here on it turned awesome. Ishizuka rocks as always. Can't wait for a decent HD.
The fist of love and the Akainu/Whitebeard Clash were my favorite moments. The Ivankov bit was a bit too much.

It was a decent episode. I didn't like the whole Ivankov scene at the beginning. A tragic war is going on and he is playing around with ice. I think Garp really added to the episode. Sengoku telling him to remember which side he was on was great. Why didn't WhiteBeard use Haki when stabbing Aokiji?

episode sucked in the beginning but once Akainu jumped in the episode became pretty awesome.
sadly that happened around 18 minutes in the episode
so it'll get a 7/10 being that nothing much happened in the chapter this episode was based off of in the first place.
decent episode. Anyone ever notice that Renbe's hair from the back makes him look like little Richard lol. Three worse things off the episode was Iva's chat with Jenbe at the beginning, Luffy grabbing that one guy and hollering at him like a maniac and the anime trying to make it look like Akainu and Shurohige were some kind of equals in terms of strength. Though I love the Garp sucker punch at the end rofl.
I like how even though they make the marine superiors look kinda cheap they still show the trials and hearts of the marines. Both groups with strong resolve fighting to protect something they believe in. It's not a one-sided fight at all.

Sadly no. They seem to have forgotten about his little cameo all though episodes ago.
Yet someone bothered to look him up , alongside Drake and that thin guy , and actualy draw their models etc.
good example of how to make a good chapter look bad.
It sucks that we haven't gotten to see Jonathan filler, but the anime guys are no less guilty than Oda. Oda showed us T-Bone during the same scene, yet didn't put him into action at all; the anime shows us Jonathan "and" T-Bone, and doesn't put either of them into action. Ohhhh well.
RE this episode: like everyone else, I wasn't too fond of it until the second half. Akainu/Whitebeard was awesome, the New World pirates were a nice group to see, and Izou is a BAMF if I've ever seen one.
Loved this episode, yes it had some low points. But overall it gave me this 
feeling inside me, which is enough. Plus the animation was overall great, although there was some shitty animators here like Takagi who did a lot of key animation(He might not do an episode any time soon) and Naoki Murakami, and some other shitty animators. But in the end it's another Solid Ishizuka episode.
I got goosebumps when Akainu intercepted WB. It was freaking awesome, specially with the soundtrack they used 
Next week looks great, love the way Ishigami have drawn Garp.

This episode was good….during the second half.
-Another looooooooooooooong ass recap.
-Unnecessary Ivankov and Jinbe filler is completely unnecessary.
-Whitebeard vs Aokiji was pretty good. Did anyone else hear Aokiji say "NO" in Engrish?
-Luffy getting his ass whooped by everyone and their grandmother was pleasantly brutal. Kizaru zapping him looked weird. They showed it from a completely different angle.
-Why does Toei insist on constantly removing Luffy's blood? From the moment he was stabbed, Whitebeard always had blood on him. But all Luffy has are scratches and scraps. Be more fucking consistent, Toei!
-The Whitebeard/Akainu clash was epic. Commence with the .gif making!
-The little filler fights of the NW allies, Shichibukai, etc. was nice. + 2 points, Toei.
-Garp falcon punching Marco was great. But guess what? He doesn't do shit next episode. Ha!

In the beginning, Ivankov was funny, but then, it became a bit ridiculous especially for a war…
Gosh, Jonathan and T-Bone are forgotten... T-bone even had to show up somewhere in the latest epsiode, but oh well, I'm happy for Momonga and dalmation (what was his name? Oh, he hasn't got any…) I loved the little filler talk with them (it was filler, was it?)
Akainu you bastard, Kizaru you pervert, Aokiji… you're cool
Bit slow episode compared to the latest, but still, the vice-admirals awesomeness made it worth watching.
P.S.: Poor Garp, it's hard for him… and Sengoku isn't helping.
We need Jonathan, a great mind, with a great plan. Stupid marines will lost without him. Come on, he was the best filler character... oh well...

Hello Ap. As said so far pretty generic beginning but the second half got me Oh Shi-…!totally took me by suprise.Hmm yeah agree about how they made akainu and Shirohige look equal :/ As for Iva's bit I didnt mind that much brought some Buggy flava in all that mess.All in all GOOD episode the weeks seem to be flying by now ,not much time left it makes me shiver

I really liked this episode.
It wasn't slow compared to the other episodes, and it was very well made.
The good point is that I have read the manga , but I've forgotten almost everything. So every episode is a new surprise for me.
Instead of all you other guys having remembered every single picture and start bitching at everything in the anime…
I agree with the T-Bone part though. He showed up in the beginning but hasn't done shit.
I liked the parts where Luffy was screaming about Ace being his only brother and WB saying he likes fools like Luffy.
The Ivankov filler was pretty stupid, though.

Great episode. Loved the WB/Akainu clash..tat was awesome. Ouch for poor Marco at the end….thats gotta hurt. Damn Garp...chose the Marines over his own family....Unforgiveable..
I think people need to realize just using haki alone doesn't enough to hurt an admiral. If it would be, any decent NW fodder guy could snipe or backstab them.
