Aliens arrive and start harvesting. That's really the whole story. but i enjoyed it. Anyone else watch this yet?

! The whole time watching this i was waiting for that moment in most "aliens harvest humans" movies where the simple solution to destroy them arrives but it never did. And i was happy. When the main guy got that mark on his chest i immediately thought "District 9" and thought he would use the power he gains to fight back, but again he didn't and i was glad. The ending was great and well done. I hope a part 2 comes out, but i'll be happy with this ending if it doesnt. Much like how i was happy with District 9's ending but would like to see a second part to wrap it up and get those damn aliens out of our earth. Taking all our jobs and fucking up the economy…... lol

It was. I have never had a movie end like that, it was so bad I felt like I was in a movie myself.

Mostly because it didn't end, they wrote themselves into a corner kind of and

Roll credits.

My roomate who loves bad action movies (he's a huge Troma fan) hated it so keep that in mind as well.

This one kinda just came outta nowhere. I saw a commercial for it telling me it was out the next friday.

Yeah it was, he was the best character.

They killed him off early and replaced him with a chubby 50 something hotel manager who complains about the bland lead not doing enough like an annoying dad.

yea turk dieing sucked and that 30 yr old guy sucked. but i still like the ending simply because i didn't see it coming until the last few minutes. i see it as more of a if aliens attack we're fucked. you can fight hold off for a couple days or weeks but in the end we will lose.our only hope is something like the ending happening but even then humans will be near extinction if not extinct. but thats just how i saw it.

! I'll admit, it's somewhat an interesting plot twist…but that doesn't make any sense...
! The other aliens are fully capable of killing one of their own, I assume! So what, one huskgoes rogue due to a human transferring issue, and the other aliens are like, "FUCK! I didn't think one of our own could attack us! We're screwed! Humans won!"
! He's outnumbered. That ending is insanely pointless!
! "HA! I made you drop your gun!"
"I have five more guns on my belt, a knife, a katana, and ten grenades."
"But I made you drop THAT gun."
! Seriously! NOTHING ground breaking about that ending.
! If he did something interesting like, change all the human powered husks to be controlled by their human counter-part, and then we had an army of alien husks fighting aliens, that'd be something.
! I am so sick of these sorts of movies.

I predicted something with the human brains overriding the new hosts as soon as I saw the damn brains being used (and brains being used makes NO fucking sense in the first place either). It's an obvious goddamn plot point that was inevitable.

All I can think of Turk crying out to J.D. as he's pulled up, which DOES make me want to watch this movie.

However, this is Skyline, not Scrubs vs Aliens.
