The Jolly Roger on the suit case resembles Luffy's but has her tongue sticking out. hahaI will see what colors look best on her though. Since these clothes were never used, I can't base my colors off much. What is up with the Route 666 sign though? 666 = Evil/Satan

You just answered your own question there. Because the number 666 is commonly associated with the Devil or other demonic evil, and because the sign points down to "Route 666", Oda could be referencing the famous ACDC song "Highway to Hell"

Also, there actually was a U.S. Highway that was labeled Route 666 that ran through Colorado, New Mexico, and Utah. Because of it's name, the road was nicknamed "The Devil's Highway". Also because of the highway's number and nickname, accidents and other phenomena became repeated as legend. It was these legends and reported deaths that convinced some people that the highway was cursed. The Highway was named and known as Route 666 from it's first construction/opening in 1926 until 2003, where it was renamed U.S. Route 491.

What colors were you thinking of for the clothing? Everytime I see those pants I think of the Leather or Crocodile pants worn long time ago. I am guessing a brown for the pants.Some of the oddities in that picture are funny. Nami's band-aid, Chopper Fox, Cigarette, and Hitchhiking in a time when no cars existed. Haha

EDIT: You could make the fox light brown though, I'd be okay with that too.

I noticed the cloud before I uploaded. If you noticed I stated that the cloud has a mistake and the lettering needs shading added. The cloud was caused by an error in the threshold count while using the selection tool. Many things will be improved in the final version.

UPDATE: I have been working on the picture and hopefully I should be able to get it done by the end of Saturday.
Today was nothing really exciting. Most of the time was spent fixing pixels around the clouds and border.
I have had to draw or touch up certain areas. Clouds and Nami's eyes weren't completely outlined.
I am not sure why Oda doesn't fully draw certain areas. I have redrawn many areas.
Nonetheless, I have gotten better at drawing and the eyes and clouds look just like the original.

Glad you like it. I can't wait till Saturday. I should have enough time to improve the One Piece Logo, Nami's hair might get some highlights due to this scene looking like a sunny day, and all of the touchups needed. The final image will look much better than this. This image still looks a little off due to the picture only being halfway complete. I will be able to get a lot done tonight.

Here is an update. It can be the final pic, unless you want any of the colors changed around. If you want the clouds darker, Nami's shirt a certain color, or any other changes, just let me know. I also did the StrawHat Jolly Roger. Tongue is pink, straw color hat, and of course the red band Luffy's hat has.
I usually work with images zoomed in around 400-800%, sometimes I will do the larger areas in 200% zoom. But if you look closely you can tell that Nami's cigarette is now red with a faint black color to it. And just to let everyone know. My next image should turn out better than this one.
I was learning many new things as I went along this time. So next time I can make metal objects look more real, and overall quality of the image better. If anyone has any images they would like done, please let me know.If you want anything changed around on that Nami pic, I will be more than happy to change some things. I might mess around with Nami's shirt color. Have a backup and a version of this pic just for messing around with.

Well, as a token of thanks, allow me share with you my first (and only) One Piece coloring I did. Here is my color scheme for the Caribou brothers in the anime (I used MS Paint.) I'm not planning on doing another coloring soon, because this one took forever. It was very tedious (about 3 days work).

Wow, for MS Paint you did a very good job.
I think this image took me 10 - 15 hours.Really fun image to do though. Since it was never featured in the anime or anything, it was really fun to see this in color.

That was an awesome image.
That would actually be a good image to do, because I can use the anime for a reference. My only issue is Luffy's shirt being pure black, but I should be able to go over it with white, and then color it.What do you mean for free? None of my work is worth .99 cents.

Sanji, that will be a really fun image to work on.
I will get to try some new stuff with that image.
Even in the anime, where they do very minimal shading, ice is something they do good. So I will be learning/practicing shading so I can blend multiple colors (Dark Blue, Light Blue, PURE White)
together for a nice effect. Excited to try to get to come out half decent. HAHAHAHAHA -
I apologize about the lack of updates.
I did the image multiple times, and never got a result i was happy with. I tried smudging the ice, came out horrible.
Did a fuzzy select on the slash, and then used multiply, came out different shades. Did the sky in a light blue, looked like the ocean. So many mistakes, kept restarting. To do the sky in gradient, I did the whole image in gradient, and then erased everything except the sky.But the image is not complete, but it is now on the right track. I have learned how to upscale images via Gimp, so it is now sharper when zoomed in. I have learned to use gradients, so the sky looks much better. I haven't done the other half of the image, but I will be working on it.

Hey BattleAxe, the double spread of Luffy taking out the Baroque Works agents, did you see it in the anime? They did it just as good as the manga in the anime. And because the scene was so dark, I couldn't do much shading, so I can't really do anything better than Toei.
I can get the image from the anime, and upscale it into better quality if you'd like.
