$25k and counting for Peach

I mean, who can blame'em? Look at how sexy those legs are
-
Yeah there's no way that buyer is actually going to pay.

Given the stuff I've seen people actually pay money for on Ebay I'd be surprised if they balked at it….exorbitant price notwithstanding.
-
Just went to the store. Spent like 20 minutes watching amiibos to find a faulty one. This thread has ruined my life xD

Even just looking at the bid history, the bids started increasing by several thousand dollars at a time. It doesn't make sense.

I didnt spend 20 minutes but I did go to two stores today and checked all their Amiibos XD.

The crazy weird obsession with these defect Amiibos is what doesn't make sense.
I mean Samus with two canons that's one thing but people actually bidding on a Peach Amiibo missing her legs?
-
on a Peach Amiibo missing her legs?
You don't see much of her legs when she floats back to the stage (f***ing all the time). It's her floating statue.

That or whoever's responsible for that manufacturing gaffe reminding people (unintentionally) that you can no longer look up Peach's dress for anything…...though they went a bit overboard.

Take with a pound of salt. -
It's Buzzfeed so it's more like taking Cyanide than a grain of salt b:
Also, The New One Piece game uses Amiibos.
W](http://nintendoeverything.com/one-piece-super-grand-battle-x-getting-amiibo-support-for-costume-unlocks/)hich kinda sucks, i bought the game a few days ago and now i realize i can't access features cause i don't have a news 3ds…..man.
By the way, it's on sale in Playasia. (affiliate link cause i suck).
-
And I thought there are released some cool OP Amiibos…
-
Talking about amiibo wishes, I really want them to make a Captain Toad one.
-
Why are people so crazy with those amiibos?
In general, they are only toys. -
Yep. And many of them are either gonna be discontinued or just never used in any new games at all in the future, unlike the disney infinity or skylanders toys.
-

In general, they are only toys.I'm not crazy about them infact, Im not that interested in get any of them but its not a "toy" its a game acessory, a colectible maybe but not a toy.
15 is not cheap for me so I obviously wont buy any of them most likelly. -
I only know that if they start releasing pokemón Amiibos it will be the end of me.
-
I think an Amiibo is the perfect gift for christmas for the one (or more) person you mostly play Smash Bros. with. Even if he or she won't use it as a pokemon, they have their favorite fighter on the desk or bedstand. Just look at the Kirby amiibo

now that would be cool for other games, like other fighting series

It shames me to know how many street fighter amiibos I would buy. Thank goodness for my pride and my wallet that it's not on wiiU.
Actually, are there any other fighting games on wiiU besides smash bros?

I think there's injustice, but yeah I don't really recall much of a fighting game selection

Take with a pound of salt.Isn't that too much salt content to take in:ninja:.
But yeah this is rather unexpected and awkward.
-
Why are people so crazy with those amiibos?
In general, they are only toys.To me, it's a collector thing. I like buying mini-figures, and I frequently buy the Bandai One Piece FC sets, and put them in glass cases for decoration in my room.
I'm not putting the Amiibos in the cases anytime soon, but I like having them around as casual video game figures on my coffee table as me and my friends play smash.

Atlus is bringing Devil Survivor 2: Record Breaker stateside next year

Anyone here happens to know the weight of the nn3ds xl box with all its content?
I know the weight of the actual 3DS, but would like to know the whole package's weight. Purpose: to figure out how much it would cost to ship one from Australia to me.
-
I may be stupid.
I haven't beaten all the Challenges in Smash and still haven't Beaten Bayonetta 1 much less 2…. but I just bought Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker......
I'm gonna get behind in mah game playin again aren't I? lol

Captain Toad is a quality purchase so NO REGRETS
-
Captain Toad is a good game, but I think a little overpriced. 20$ price would have been perfect.

Nintendo selling a new game for anything less than $30, that'll be the day.
-
Well, they're selling Dr. Luigi for, what, $20 or something?
-

$15 actually and somewhat overpriced for a modern remake of a 24 year old game.

This is for the Japanese edition (I imagine the Australian edition is pretty similar), but looking at the EMS shipping rates for it (I checked Nippon Yasan, for the record) it's 2,040 yen, which means the package is heavier than 700g but either under or exactly 800g.

I got Wario Ware, Fire Emblem, and will be getting Captain Toad soon using deluxe offer points. There's just too many good games to go around on the Wii U.
Regarding Smash though, what I have discovered from obliterating Foolio is that sometimes after going a while without playing Smash, when you finally play it you play out of instinct and actually perform better than usual. It's like riding a bicycle.

Speaking of online, anyone got any tips on improving online connection? I've worked around the common firewall issue. (I know this question is more about specific internet connection, and not so much Wii U configuring)
-
Is anyone getting Persona q or fantasy life here? I'm considering getting either one or the other, but i can't really decide. The content of both games are really appealing, but i was wondering about game duration for both of them. Is it better to wait for PQ to have a sale in the future and get fantasy life first?

I got both, haven't played neither of them for more than five hours. I got a problem.

Thanks!
I imagine pal version might be heavier if the manual is bigger due to all the languages it may be written in.Again, thank you for your input!

Sweet! My registrations paid off…literally. Nintendo gave me 15 dollars in eShop credit, so now I've got over ~$25. I was saving it for the Majora's Mask pack of Hyrule Warriors (occasionally buying some 3DS themes).....maybe I could get another game.
-
As a huge fan of retro games, I couldn't have been more happy to get Ultimate NES Remix, for the 3DS. The Wii U already caught my eyes, but unfortunately, I don't have money to buy a Wii U yet so…
Anyway... that game is great! So many challenges, the possibility to compare my score easily from other people, ect. Even if I'm not a competitive player at all, it's still fun to play and try to beat my own score... And try to collect all the stars to unlock all the challenges.Surprisingly enough, I love every single games I got on the 3DS so far. Not to mention that the 3DS have my favorites games of 5series (Animal Crossing, Fire Emblem, Ace Attorney, Pokemon, Kirby), and my second favorites of two others(Pokemon mystery dungeon, Harvest Moon), in addition of having the first (and only yet) game of 2 serie that would probably become my favorites(Tomodachi Life, HarmoKnight). 3DS is definitely my favorite handheld, and in my top 3 favorite game consoles with the Gamecube and the Wii. As much as I love the NES, SNES and Nintendo 64, all their best games either have great remakes or can be bought on a virtual console. That's why 3DS, Gamecube and Wii are my favorites! I have a 3DS and a Wii, and though I don't have a GC anymore, my Wii is one of the retrocompatible ones so I kept my favorites GC games, a memory card and a few contollers...

Wait, why did you get $15?! Just from regsitering games?! I register a TON of games…

There were 3 five dollar credits, and I know registering the Wii U gave me one…forgot the other two. Nintendo emailed me about it.

It sounds more like the Deluxe Digital Promotion than registering things on club nitnendo

@Purple:

Yes, that's precisely what he seems to be talking about. And it requires buying the games in digital version too. Although that ends this month, sadly.
Got $40 myself, about to cash in for Captain Toad.
-
I'm like $7 away from another $5 card. Wondering if I should just purchase Bayo 2 with my $15 I have right now or get a small thing.
On the other hand, there's gonna be a change of games they're offering as rewards on monday, so I might just cash some coins out for a free game which will lead to DDP points
-
I just managed to get £15 by upgrading Kirby dreamland 3
-
Since I've been bringing my 3DS to and on the train these past few months, I've been streetpassing like a fiend. I never knew it could make Fire Emblem Awakening so damn fun. Here I thought I hit a wall on things to do in that game.

Yeah, that sounds right. Apologies for blanking out. :O

A Japanese commercial seems to show a new Wii U gamepad.
Kinda looks like a PSVita
