Couldn't agree more, a new Advance Wars is waaaay overdue. As for FE14, should they make it, I do hope it's more subdued than FE13 was, it was fun, but kinda too easily broken.

Why Mario Golf or Tennis? IIRC those were most recently given to Camelot … although I'm not sure about power tennis. Or the 3DS golf game that went off the radar.
I love Intelligent Systems, by far one of my favorite developing teams thanks to their involvement in Fire Emblem and Paper Mario. That said, given what has happened to recent Paper Marios, I hope that's not what they're working on. Like others, I'd be really excited if it was a Wii U Wars game of some sort, that franchise has been asleep for a while. And since we know Fire Emblem will have a cross with SMT, not expecting many new announcements for that franchise either.

BTW, a new Nintendo Direct is coming Tues. Oct. 1st, at 10 AM EST(7 AM PST). The direct will focus on titles for Wii U and 3DS arriving this year.

Major Wii U system update is now available. Includes ability to play wii games on the gamepad (although you still need to use wii controllers to control the game)

a wii sensor bar like they always do. If you have the stand that comes with the deluxe Wii U set just stand the gamepad on that on a TV tray or something similar and play using the Wiimote or the classic controller with the sensor bar still connected to the Wii U console.
it may be a little awkward but if you play that way long enough I'm sure anyone would get used to it.

So you have to rent all the items in the Zelda game, so you can freely deceide which dungeon to tackle.
Not sure how i feel about that… Kind of removes the whole "special" feel, of discovering that new cool weapon.Mario 3d World looks alot better than previously shown.
And i will play bravely default with the original voices, thank you very much.

1. Super Mario 3D world looks amazing. It's like they did everything the series ever did. Every power up, insane levels, crazy new power ups, ect. I'm way more excited to this than Galaxy. I love the 3 world map look too.
2. Sonic and Mario at olympics. Never played but always thought could be neat. Online competing is sweet. Oh and the medals go towards country total is pretty dang sweet too.
3. SONIC in smash. Awesome. Figured he be back, but always nice for new smash news
4. is this etrian games any good? Never played or really heard of it.
5. Sonic Lost Worlds just keeps looking better everytime I see it. Wow the 3DS version looks very good too.
6. AC4, been waiting for a longtime, not much to say other than I love One Piece and Pirates of Caribbean, so super hyped for any type of pirate game and AC4 looks like a very good one
7. hmm might have to check out this demo for ace attorney, never played one.
8. aww only a animal crossing tv shirt. Was kind of hoping the tv shirt woudl be available on nintendo.com for rewards points or something. I want to wear that shirt. I have animal crossing, but found out it really isn't my type of game. Put in like 30 hours and doubt I'll play it ever again. Also won't be getting any future animal crossing games. It was my first AC game and will be last. It's not a bad game, its just isn't my type. I need some sort of story/action.

11. new Kirby game huh. never played on but seems like should make many happy, always hearing people get excited about a new game of his. Then disapointed by it being yarn or something. Even though I think yarn was a brilliant idea and seemed insanely creative.

hmm I would prefer them be rewards in chests. You know you use a generic hammer that you rent, then in the dungeon you get some "hammer of the heroes" or something like that, that is decked out in a fancier design.
I just hope this Non-linear doesn't mean dungeons are simplified so that you only need 1 item to beat each dungeon.

Need to get that Pikmin update soon, and try out that new free level. I guess I'll leave the 4 to buy until I get back home in December. Well, they're all only Collect Treasure anyways. Looking forward to new Defeat Enemies levels being announced.
And damn, that clip … calling the pikmin up on the ledge huh. Why did I never think of that. It's a shame nobody on here shares cool strategies for mission mode.
3D World is looking great. Probably won't be getting it for quite a while, but it does look nice~
Zelda's new item system? I'm interested to see it in practice. Will I know what I need before I head into a dungeon ... ? Or will I just be guessing and going back and forth trying to get the right loadout? O.o
So there's a Sonic platformer coming soon ... and a Kirby platformer coming later. I'm not into either series, but both look like things I might give a go in the future.

Still no news about SMT IV or Etrian Odyssey Untold though. Do Atlus just hate Europe or something? I've never really played either series, but I'm really wanting to try out SMT. And I played the Etrian Odyssey IV demo and quite liked it. I figured, hey, there's another game about to come out, this one with a token story. But no news at all of a European localisation >_>
Bit disappointed there's no news over SMTxFE. DK postponed also, although there was no way I would be getting that in December anyway.

There's an enhanced version coming out in Japan this December, which I heard are what the localised ones are based on. And there will be a sequel further in the future. -

regardless you can just switch back to japanese. seems most people on the internet are always clamoring for japanese voices anyway so never understand why at the same time those same people WANT japanese voices bitch about the english ones being bad. i don't go into a ice cream shop and bitch about the flavors I dont' like, I just get my favorite flavor, since its available. If it wasn't available, then I can bitch.
Now I'm not saying your one of them, just a stray thought. Made me think of it cause on the bottom of the screen when showing bravely default it had a caption saying "japanese voices available" or something to that extent. So I was like "hmm that should make people happy, and hopefully lead to less bitching"

I at first thought it was bad, then I listened again and tried to picture the atmosphere of the situation and it wasn't as bad.
It's always hard to listen with words below. I tried to ignore them.
But heck I thought Kid Icarus was horrendous first time hearing it, and it was a very good dub i thought when i got my hadns on it.

While I'll entertain the idea of doing dungeons in my own order, I agree that I want my items and I want to keep them. The fact of the matter is, it's a good idea, but if it isn't executed properly, a lot of people are going to hate it. I can see it working well, and I can see it failing miserably. Hopefully we get the former.
Also, it seems that Ravio is a member of the Dark Tribe. First by appearance, and second by the fact that he has Majora's Mask in his shop. Quite interesting to me, and hopefully we'll learn a bit more about the Dark Tribe through him.

I just want to expressed how extremely excited I am now for Super Mario 3D World. During E3 it really looked just like 3D Land but multiplayer on the Wii U and sure, I would have bought that.
But this recent footage convinces me they really are running in all gears with the concept. It makes me happy and definitely solidifies my desire to purchase.
Same with Zelda 3DS. One of the things I liked in a Link to the Past was the freedom to roam as I wished and the fact certain dungeons could be done in different order, so the whole item thing is a welcome change. It's different from the cookie cutter Zelda experience we've gotten into. I like Zelda, but I also like different.

Basically I also really hope they can pull it off to make it fun, but I'm sadly not optimistic. It's fine to have dungeons that can be done out of order if you can find them etc, but I have a feeling overworld exploration and dungeon quality will drop due to this. In terms of overworld, I fear everything will be easy to get to as long as you rent the right thing. The "right" way to do it in my mind would be for there to be a clear suggested order, like the game guides you and nudges you toward a certain sequence, but if, say, you find the right items/events/quests and perhaps some non-obvious paths, you can bypass that sequence (making use of the shop only for dungeon items you skipped). In terms of dungeon quality, I will be disappointed if all dungeon enemies and bosses do the same amount of damage or are the same difficulty, meaning basically they are all going to be easy and just get easier the more hearts you get. There should be a clear sense of "oh shit I'm not supposed to be here, but I'm gonna do it anyway cause I'm a crazy bastard." And what I mentioned above about one-note themes.
This feature actually makes the most sense to me as something like a New Game + feature.

Sucks that DKC: Tropical Freeze is delayed to 02/2014, but with so much good stuff out this year for Wii U, it's actually good IMO that Donkey Kong will kick 2014 off with a bang and keep the Wii U momentum going…
That new trailer for Super Mario 3D World was INCREDIBLE!!!! Lots of people on boards and websites that were kinda apprehensive about getting this installment changed their minds after this trailer. So much amazing footage, the music, the feel, everything!

Please let this be in Mario Kart 8 for Bowser.LOZ: A Link Between Worlds is gonna be a great title, and the item renting feature is a very interesting concept; Brings back the feel of the original Zelda in going to any dungeon you want in the game, though I think you will still be able to play through it just like the usual Zelda titles. Can't wait for Kirby's newest adventure on 3DS though in 2014!!!

SONIC IS BACK IN SMASH BROS.!!!!!!!!!!!!!I hoped they would unveil him this month for Sonic Lost World, and it happened; It's so cool to see him, Mario & Megaman together in the same game. The new footage showed looks at the new stages in motion, and definitely seemed to have faster combat from the looks of it. Beautiful…

Well Wind Waker is out today for us americans.
Just picked it up and turned Wii U on. Doing some update right now. Probably start playing in an hour or so after I eat dinner.
Sounds like update is done, don't hear the update noise anymore, but not in a hurry. Not like I haven't played this game before.

Played around in it for a bit, haven't left Outset Island yet so I can't really comment on any "new" features. However, I'm still pretty new with my Wii U and I'm loving the fact I can play the game on the pad and take it to my room and play it while lying on my bed. Can't wait to reminisce about it later, haHA!
Also, thinking about getting Xenoblade Chronicles (Wii version). Or should I just go ahead and play the Wii U Xeno instead?
