For Jump Superstars i dont think there will be much japanese in it. Most will be on the bottom with the manga pictures. The only game that has an english option on what you are talking about was Super smash bros on Gamecube. But there could be others I don't know.

There isn't much to worry about if you are planning on picking up a Japanese OP game.. The only thing you won't really understand at first are some menus (if you are thinking about GB games). Once you figure out which menu item is which, you'll have no problem at all.
