I like the idea of an adventure game.

I remember reading some info that Oda was a fan of the "Final fantasy" series. Basically, it is a role playing game. It is an adventure game.

Coincidentally, the series main assets are similar to One Piece:

• Solid and emotional storyline until Final fantasy 13 .
• Amazing ost
• The theme of adventure, friendship, becoming stronger, epic battles.

Greg is a fan of the series until the terrible 13. IMO, FF9 is one of the episode that is the closest to what a One Piece game should be.

Lol yeah !

I really loved how the podcast saw all the potential of the One Piece universe, like the diversity of the characters fighting style.

Even a fighting game can be pretty good. If a One Piece fighting game was made by Capcom, it would be a masterpiece. They have made an outstanding job with the Marvel franchise. I am sure that Luffy's gomu gomu no was inspired by Dhalsim of Street fighter 2 (made by Capcom) who could also extend his limbs while fighting.

By the way, where are the pictures on the site? (The fanarts with the fake Straw Hats.) Sorry for the annoying question, but I can't seem to locate them.

Also, I have to ask because I'm curious. Do you guys not like Yu-Gi-Oh? I know the premise of card games may turn some off, but it's overall a very good franchise. (Well, GX is iffy, but 5D's is also really good.) Just wondering based on the comments I've been hearing lately from you guys about it.

Have you seen any of the original anime (not the 4Kids dub)? Well, since you'd have to see it illegally, maybe I shouldn't ask that. While overall not as good as the manga, the original anime adaption is pretty good. I'd also recommend 5D's. Don't let any 4Kids exposure fool you - it's got some very good stuff in it.

Great episode guys, loved the additional sounds you gave to the drawn-out reaction shots at the beginning. It cracks me up every time I listen to that part . Several thumbs-up for the Simpson references and replacing Sengoku's last line. When I first saw that scene with Whitebeard leaping to battle, the first song I thought was the "Lets Get Ready to Rumble!" mix.

About the One Piece and Dominos pizza in japan new, I'm surprised that it wasn't Pizza Hut since there's been several anime series 'crossed over' with the company, Code Geass being the first anime series to partner up with Pizza Hut Japan. In case you were curious, here's a list of other anime series Pizza Hut has sponsered: Sengoku Basara, Darker Than Black, Maria-sama Watches over us, Kannagi: Crazy Shrine Maidens, A Certain Scientific Railgun, Bakemonogatari, Macross Frontier, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha Movie, Sora Wo Noto, Angel Beats!, The Sky Crawlers, Sora Kake Girl, Okamisan and her Seven Companions, Rebuild of Evangelion, and the latest, My Little Sister can't be this cute.

It doesn't really matter this whole forum revolves around thee illegal distribution of anime and manga. Plus 4Kids' site Toonzaki is streaming 5Ds subbed legally and I hear GX is next.

Okay. We're all entitled to our opinions and I respect yours. But I really like it. It does make me happy to know that you like the original manga though. It's definitely the best of the franchise.
