I have their scans up to volume 57 but I can't find anything past that and they say they are quitting. Manga Stream only has the latest handful of chapters.
Who will replace Null now that they're quitting?

The subforum is mainly being used to announce releases.

@Vongola_Boss_XI:
In the sticky topic with links to online reading sites it links to One Piece Manga v2 on MSN Groups (where we used to be). I'm a creator / manager of OPMv2, so who would I contact about updating those links to our new location on groupbox after MSN closed?
Oh, nostalgia.
I used to read the manga on OPMv2. It was the first time I discovered scanlations. -
I think he's talking about tankobon HQ scanlations. And no one is coming close to null's quality, so that's a problem.
-
I will be looking fowrad for someone who will take the null task…
-
Yep went to their site after this alarming news and yes they are gonna quit after volume 59, a shame but the english and french volumes are not so far behind Japan so it's not a disaster.
Thanks Null for everything.

maybe i will, if i found translation

You could always try Viz Media. I hear they actually help out Oda.

No, but srsly. People want digital manga and they want it fast. When I was in Japan I (EDIT: FOUND THEN BOUGHT) bought Shounen Jump, like, two days after Mangastream released it. For free.
If Viz wants to stand a chance in the digital realm, they need to release manga in a digital format, release it before scanlators, and perhaps release apps for Android, iPhone, iPad, etc.
The ball is in Viz's court. They need to do something about it, not just 'speed up' the volume releases in hope of improving sales.
But you know what I do? I support Oda far more directly by importing directly from Japan. Oda makes a lot more from the Japanese volumes than he does from the American, worldwide releases.

Anyhow, Null. I have all their releases and it won't be hard to find the stuff they've released, but I don't think we'll have HQ full volume scans for a while. I'm hanging out for Viz to release digital manga, personally.
