actually, luffy did ask zoro where he was sent by Kuma.
Where he was sent sure…But not what I'd feel would be more pressing than questioning "what happened to your eye?"

If zoro would've actually said "to mihawk", that would definately have explained his scar
besides, the scar was made wherever Zoro was sent too . . .

Well…Mihawk didn't show up till a while after he'd been there was what I remembered. Also doesn't mean that he couldn't have wandered somewhere else. Nobody really said they had to stay put from what I recall. That scar could have happened anywhere (not saying that's true, but 2 years is a long time).
since we are on this topic I'm really curious what the difference in skill is between Mihawk and Zoro at this moment. I of course do not expect Zoro to have reached Mihawks' lvl yet but where does he stand now, same for Luffy, Rayleigh said that 2 years would be a short amount of time and that he could only teach the basics to Luffy (by beating it into him :P) but instead of that being the case, Rayleigh actually thaught everything to Luffy in 1,5 years and left and when Luffy arrives at SA, Rayleigh immediately noticed that Luffy honed his skills even more. . . How strong has he actually gotten and would he be able to defend himself against something like an admiral now ot would it be too soon? He would probably not be able to beet any of the admirals yet but the fight should definitely be far more interesting than when he fought Aokiji or Kizaru.
Don't forget that Zoro was going to cut his legs off i think when that wax df user used his power on Zoro,Vivi and Nami so him removing one of his eyes for training is not really a big deal to him if it helped with his training.

I think Mihawk did teach Zoro however Zoro now has to master what Mihawk did teach Zoro and Zoro needs to get better than Mihawek and make his own moves from what Mihawk did teach Zoro.
Why would Zoro cut his eye when he can just cover it up?
and no, it's not like what happened in little garden.

Well either way it was most likely done when training with Mihawk.
It also makes him look more badass so people are to scared to even attack him.
didn't Oda once say that there will be an eyepatch in One Piece but that he already reserved it for a character? perhaps Zoro XD

I think Blackbeard has a higher chance due to them most of the time being colored black and him having the darkness fruit and all.
also his color theme is black and his hair is black and the missing teeth are colored black so yeah.
I think the old one piece green version of him had him with a black eyepatch as well.
the eyepatch could be green though :D
It would even make him more Marimo
I would agree on Jinbe is the new nakama theory if he weren't 46 years old.
But Jinbe might want to join the crew intentionally to protect Luffy. He might want to stick with him.
And about the Chapter 620. Are we going to get it 3D later? Or…

Brook is almost twice Jinbe's age so age is not stopping him however i would like someone else because most people cannot spell Jinbe correctly and it's funny because of the people who do it are the people that point out spelling mistakes lol.
Purge it! PURGE IT ALL!
Hey looking-at-you? Do they post emotionlessly and absent mindedly?….IN HELL
i don't know what's happening, but i like it. i like it a lot.
Now now children, you guys need to have respect for the dead.

Rat out all the other Narutofan lurkers.
I dont think we know of any reason why zoro's bounty increased , so maybe his eye has some thing to do with an event which resulted in his bounty increase

There's that too. Seems like maybe he left the island early with Perona? Got into trouble and whatnot in typical Zoro fashion. I feel that he most likely did lose his eye to Mihawk. Getting used to having wonky depth perception as a swordsman probably have taken a good chunk of time.
Mihawk: "You're getting better Roronoa.. but if you ever want to even hope to surpass me, you will need to see the world as I see it, as a TRUE swordsman sees it."
Mihawk then transplants one of his eyes in Zoro's head, putting even more faith in his ability to one day be able to surpass him.
Hahahah a gal can wish, right?!

You could also wish for a pile of poop to fall on you, but you wouldn't do that either.

The latent homosexuality sure went up in this thread.
Zoro lost hisboyish good looks and gained a more manlier approach to bad his personality doesn't fit at all. He reminds me to much of sir orange from final fantasy to act like he does. Maybe the crew needs a yufie lol.

They need a true asiatic blackman, not all these Yakub manufactured devils.
The One Piece message will actually be a 158 minute lecture from the honorable Louis Farrakhan.
Waiting for Zoro has MIhakigan and he is doing the Kakashi-way
I can't believe this eye theory is still going around. It's horrendously stupid. This isn't Naruto.
Also, congrats Jerk Disease on your greeness.
the eye thing will remain forever until either zoro opens it and we see a hollow crevice or the manga ends.
thats just how people are, best to just ignore them

One day wish-fulfillment or something more permanent?
(Oh. I'm a tiny bit surprised that Robin is still all by her lonesome self. I know that Poneglyph hunting is more of a solo thing for her, but still. It'd be nice if she had some backup, yanno?)

No one likes when you post dumb prediction seriously outside of the dumb predictions thread, him thrashing you was sending you a much needed lesson, you'll grow to like him when he rips apart people you hate to
EDIT: and as for your comment "WTF he didn't rip me apart" as said to many others, maybe not in your mind, but to the rest of the forum members he did
which is to say labeling someone as an idiot whether they believe it or not isn't the point, it's to change the way people around them perceive them so that they treat them as they should be, not saying your an idiot just the mentality of the poster
for example even if AlmostLegendary says something smart everyone already perceives it as dumb and will get negative comments, this will annoy them eventually when there trying to have an intelligent conversation and no one will listen, short term it seems like nothing, long term even if you snap once they've won
to sum it all up for those who don't understand, going against JERKDISEASE or other well respected members will get you in the long run
I dont want to troll or anything, but why is the secret eye for Zoro such a crazy and gay idea when the guy can release a tecnique that "gives" him 4 more arms and 2 more heads. Having the Mihawk eye is really stupid, but having some spirit eye is not a lunatic idea

The arms and heads are illusions from moving fast if I remember right. It's ridiculous that he has some sort of spirit eye. Zoro's never used some sort of supernatural mumbo jumbo. The closest we've got is him being able to sense his swords, and I personally think that's linked to Haki at this point.
Man its good to be back.
Damn it's been a few days - what was the schedule again?
In Japan it is 618 that is being released this week and we get a break this week for spoilers and 620? Sounds wrong.
Today or tomorrow we receive the spoilers for 620 and soon after the chapter itself on Monday or 11. of April to be exact the Japanese people receive the chapter

Oh for some reason I thought there was a break this week - well this will be a promising week all round and we get to see some surprising turns of events
Yeah and shouldn't Neptune's tail be split? (I'm guessing there should've been a discussion on this already too)
yeah I was wondering about that too
Maybe it only splits for females?
Finally back in action
EDIT
Cuz I missed a lot here I just want to say one thing… Thank You Robby that you banhammered AlmostLegendary! And I hope HE wasn't part of the april jokes xD
thats probably right…btw...how do octopus merman split tails o.O do each leg split...?
^ Extra clean-up?
I'm disappointed that I missed out on the amazing battle between the mods, but I'm just loving the new look. AP Forums is by far the best forum I've visited, and I expect it to stay that way.
Unfortunately, I don't actually have anything witty to say here, nor anything for the chapter besides "Thank you Oda!"
Well, it's not like anyone really pays attention to my posts… unless I'm translating something. Even that's become rather infrequent. Oh, woes... not.
It's okay, I pay attention to you!
Edit: In hind sight that sounds really creepy.
Nothing funnier than an april fools joke that backfires.
Anyhoo, if the king is in trouble then Jinbei might pop by FI to help restore order. Honestly, why was he not anticipating the rebellion? Surely he knew Hodi had sinister plans
No more non-chapter related content.
There's a thread here to talk about the new forum.
This chapter was sub-par. It may as well have been called "Jinbei's facefault". Let's see if the crew and jinbei will leap into action now that they've had their anticipated meeting.
Maybe it only splits for females?
I just figure it's kind of a choice thing. When Kokoro became a mermaid, you wouldn't be able to tell that she could split her tail.
