A: We don't know yet. We're working on it.

Q: Why are some Avatar so huge?
A: Basically, during the avatar import, vB thinks that if the image is perfectly fine for IPB, it will be perfectly fine for vB. So thus, it imports all the avatars. However, because IPB resizes the images, 500x500 size images are resized to 150x150 and accepted, thus vB accepts the 500x500 size image without resizing it.

Q: Why can we only have such teeny-weeny avatars?
I think 150x150 are pretty big. Anything bigger than that might mess up forum layout and they won't look so good.

How do we delete posts?
Edit your posts and you will see a delete option.

Um, quick question. What do I need to configure in Firefox to be able to use cut & paste, when replying? I just get a message prompt, when I try it.

EDIT: Ah, solved it. For anyone else finding problems with replying, just goto User CP > Edit Option > & try changing the 'editor interface' from Enhanced to Standard & or Basic, and see if it makes a difference.

I have a question about the hyperlinking. Back in the old forum, it was possible to type in the http:// and afterwards we could chose to decide how the text might look like on which we could click. I´ve always used the "click here" text when I was hyperlinking something.

However here it doesn´t seem to be working. If we hyperlink something then we always see the entire url. But I since I´ve been on a couple of vBulletin boards before, I know that the option to entere texts into hyperlinks works with this software. Therefore I just wanted to ask why it doesn´t work here (yet).

Edit II: It actually even works in context with the hyperlink feature. If I click on the hyperlink button, enter the url and press the ok button and afterwards write the text over the url it works too. Didn´t know that. This feature is new to me.

No it can't, because something of that size would be overkill on bandwidth.

yes, there are still senior members, you'll simply find them under a different rank now. As for post count, they are not counted in a large portion of the forums.

and mine doesn't even show when i'm logged off (just the banner, the avatar shows fine). it just has the url of the banner, why's that?

There're options that you need changes to enable Avatars and Signatures to be shown. They are under Edit Options. Surely you have read this right?

It's under your profile if WZ has enabled it but apparently he hasn't. You could suggest it to him.

Mafioso11: (* stands for m) Use the [ig] tags. For example, you can change your code to
[ig]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v378/ss5axel/maffysig.gif[/i*g] and it will show up..

You can get an enhanced editor interface if you proceed to your Edit Options page again and scroll all the way down to find the option.

Please check the Edit Options page thoroughly first..

EDIT: Is the supposed lack of an editor with some interface the cause of some of the dislike for this new version? lol, cos it's just disabled by default somehow - you need to enable it.

shinagamithe3rd, i think you're having the same problem i had before. just go to your options and put a check where it says show avatars, sigs, pics, and whatnot. you'll know what i mean when you see it .

custom titles has been turned on, you can change your Stowaway title now to whatever you want.

Post counts has been disabled. It was not useful anyway. it often led to some SPAM issues so we turned it off.

There is lo-fi option in vb to my knowledge, I can make a skin that is far less graphic intensive for that purpose though. I'll do it when I get the time

There was a link called "Archive" at the bottom of the page but apparently it is gone.. Maybe you can add it back in WZ? That link is the link to the "low-fi" version.
