Someone should've seen this one coming.
Compared to the Naruto or Bleach fanbase, the One Piece fanbase seems to be superior in every way. Sadly, this is not 100% true.
Post whatever it is about the OP fanbase that pisses you off, irritates you, annoys you, etc.

- Fucking lurkers
- People who think that the Strawhats and anyone who saves them are the most important factors in this plot
- People who decry every other character as "generic cookie cutter badasses" while practically worshiping only a select three or four
- Fucking Perona theorizers
- Anime only watchers
- People who can't grasp a simple comedy scene and look into it for deeper meaning
- People who can't grasp that One Piece has more to it than fights
- People who keep alluding to thinking that One Piece losing its path but not elaborating as to why they think that way
- Fangirls. Holy shit, the fucking fangirls

I believe that the Bleach fanbase is the most mature, as Bleach is a fairly serious story (though I haven't read much of it) and that Naruto fanbase is the worst. It's full of intolerable, Narutards who think every other anime sucks because it doesn't have emo ninjas. I couldn't stand Naruto after Sasuke joined Orochimaru, it began to fade after the Chunin exams.
The One Piece fanbase has got to be one of the more balanced of the three following Toriyama's masterpiece, Dragonball. It has the "I think it's fun but not serious at all and I can make a lot of immature jokes about it" fans and the "this story has many plot points and a lot of emotion while keeping a lighter aspect on things" fans.
One thing that prevents certain people from joining other fanbases is the fact that anime can be introduced on an inappropriate station and not do too well (4kids), American voice actors aren't always good (can't stand naruto actors), and anime can be set towards a much different audience (adult swim, at like 11-12pm).
Don't forget the fanboys, they are just as bad! Also, shitty doujin with no sense of storytelling and that focus on an illogical happening (MAJIMADOU, fuckin' HATE her!!!! shakes fist at heavens).

People who complain about shipping in general. There's nothing wrong with it unless people take it too seriously, and those who do in One Piece should be disliked because they're idiots for thinking so, not because they ship.

That being said, shallow shippers who completely ignore any character who doesn't have a normal and slim appearance. You'd think by being shallow they'd stay out of One Piece, of all manga, but noooo. :getlost:
